Well I recommend you still play with the online functions, just not completely open. Set it to only allow creations from certain users you trust here or elsewhere.

Aw, you're being unfair. There are lots of examples of non-penis creatures in the other thread! I think this thread is really more the Spore penis thread than the Spore leak thread, to be honest.
 
This thread should be merged with the sporepedia thread.

Some seriously great non penis related stuff in there.

Sidenote: How come no one tried to make a vagina monster?

Yes, you can subscribe to sporecasts. It works similar to RSS feeds, so if you find someone who you know makes great spore content (cool creatures, buildings, vehicles) you can subscribe to their "Sporecast" and you'll automatically download their content to populate your universe. You can also download individual content (through the special PNG) and populate your spore universe with them.

I think within the next week this sort of stuff should fall off, and then it will come back once when the full game is out, and then go away.

The Maxis people should ideally have moderators who approve creatures before they get sent out to everyone in their own universes. A daunting job considering the amount of creatures that will come in, but I think if EA/Maxis wants to keep it safe / from getting sued it's almost necessary.

With all of the parts, who knows what's possible with this spore porn :lol

i was under the impression that you choose which creatures are in your world by importing them?

They have thought of this with the concept of sporecasts I explained above. You can let all content in, or subscribe to specific sporecasts.
