Doesn't inspire much confidence when Spotify:
- decided to send out emails instead of making a webpage or something in the app
- decided that the only ones who would get emails is if you had the email spam option enabled, even if you're a premium user
- is now saying that the emails can't be resent

I would most likely have dropped Spotify for Google Play Music by now if there was an app for Windows Phone and GPM had a $4.99 student price.

My dad was telling me about his and I gotta say I'm a bit salty that I never got an email or anything. All notifications turned on. I'd actually be pretty curious to know, I did get a playlist of my top played tracks but that's all.

For those who love stats, you can get a Last.fm account and link it to Spotify. It'll keep track of all your plays and can give you summaries of most played songs/albums/artists for a bunch of different date ranges. Great to see how your tastes have been changing.

This is really cool, all their fun stuff and discovery stuff almost makes me want to switch to Spotify

The discovery stuff is really great. Added a lot of new songs to my playlist.

But it comes in chunks. Like there would be a few weeks where the music isn't to my tastes, and then one week where almost all the songs knock my socks off.

According to Spotify, to recieve the personal stats email, you needed to have your notifications already turned on before they sent out the email on Dec 12. They are unable to resend the email for some bizarre reason.
