According to Spotify, to recieve the personal stats email, you needed to have your notifications already turned on before they sent out the email on Dec 12. They are unable to resend the email for some bizarre reason.

It actually had to be on before Dec. 2nd. I went to the trouble of contacting the help account on Twitter and that's what they told me.

Of course I had it on long before then, am on premium and still haven't got my email yet. And yes, as you note, when I asked they say the emails can't be resent. Such bullshit.

I got mine a couple days ago. Not a huge deal. If you're using gmail it may get buried in your "promotions" tab which is where it was for me. Would have missed it if I hadn't gone searching for it.

So uhhhhh, I had my email for about four days now and didn't even realize it because I didn't have the correct Spotify email bundled so it got glanced over. :T

Also, it feels like my stats are incomplete to me. I can't exactly remember what my listening habits were like earlier this year. I think I had taken a bit of a hiatus from music listening for a few months?

For comparison here's my Last.fm "Last.year" in which I've only been scrobbling since November 1st of this year.

Right-click, save as for each then combine in an image editing software. Alternatively, you can screencap instead of saving each image.

Just realized I got it on the 15th. Try searching Spotify in your email instead of manually looking for it.

Seems like this is the place to consult. And you can search for playlists in Spotify using those genre names, so that did clear things up for me. At least as far as what I listen to is concerned.

For once Spotify come up with a cool feature. They will shut it down in few weeks though

Now I want super random radio that will randomly pick a song in Spotify's library

This is awful. Why would I even look at this compared to last.fm? Top artist... during what period? How many plays? What tracks? Top Track? When!?

This is actually much more interesting than the Spotify website.

Some of those genre names sound just ridiculous (post-post-hardcore?, post-teen pop?, lift kit?).
