wish they would just do this in the app. This website is annoying and seems to have stopped loading my info at the "Spring" portion. On the Winter screen with my top artists it was playing some pop song I've never streamed before.

There is something unsettling about this. I feel like I should do better somehow, but there isn't an XP bar to go along with all these achievements. At least I had a higher number of artists listened to this year than last by 15% and 7% more total minutes listened.

Did I unlock something at least?

Spotify totally flubbed it this year for me. It seems like they didn't count a fuck ton of my listens because I listen to a lot of local files that might not be linked with their service. Dumb as fuck, man! They used to do a good job of taking note of that stuff anyways. They made it look like I barely listened to anything this year :( last.fm stats will save me tho.

Even Spotify can't figure out how to do genres correctly. Somehow my top genre was "Indie R&B" when my top 5 artists were Motion City Soundtrack, blink-182, David Bowie, SOAD, and CHVRCHES.

I don't like how it presents the data. If you streamed one song quite a lot, it puts the artist or the album the song was from as your top one. Rather than an album or artists you listened to consistently over the year.

Eh I don't think it's as accurate as last year for me. Somehow Bryan Regan is like number 3 for me but I've only listened to him twice this year. Because of it comedy consists of two of my favorite genres which just isn't true. Besides the guy only had 1 album most of year and I remember shutting it off because I was bored and I only listened to about 10 minutes of his new album last week. It also says Minecraft music is my number one again this year, which I doubt but whatever.

So yeah I'm calling bs.
