gotta hand it to them, they really seem pro-active

as of right now. they seem to be the only devs to call a spade a spade (from their own perspective):

Yeah of course, but it'd be nicer to see them working on titles with the Switch specifically in mind and play on its strenghts, or reviving dormant IPs that were fan favourites on previous Nintendo consoles.

Yeah i'm not sure about that. Lots of games but small games, indy type productions, and no real big exclusive incoming. I mean ok they may be the most fructuous 3rd party yet every damn major game in the west is not there.

FF X/XII remasters are obvious as hell and they are not there.
World of FF, obvious port, not there.
No Kingdom Heart port, remaster or anything
No Type-zero port
Star Ocean can be ported easily, but nothing to see

If you're looking at the number of title it can look nice, but if you're looking at the actual part of their catalog that is nowhere to be seen on switch, it kinda look like a polite way to not show confidence lol.

That's true, but we need some exclusive Switch games though:

Mana Series
Reboot, maybe ditch the top down visual, go for KH style gameplay (in terms of camera and basic gameplay mechanics), keep the coop

Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles
Coop focused, closer to the original CC, character creator, coop both online and local and on one console, the same game can go from one style to the other (like, i meet up with my friends to play on one or multiple Switches, then we continue online at night)
