I had fun with FFXIII. Although it is somewhat tied with FFVIII for me (FFXIII: awesome battle system, wonky story/linearity. FFVIII: awesome FF magic feel/wonky battle system)

Squaresoft is the company you grew up with. Square Enix has lost all relevancy.

Jeez, go cry some more. FFXIII had one of the best fighting system in an rpg. Sorry you didn't get to run around aimlessly for hours not accomplishing anything. I play rpgs for the fights and story. Two things FFXIII deliver greatly on. I consider Chrono Trigger one of the best rpgs of all time. Yet that game is pretty linear. The fighting system however is fast paced and just a ton of fun. Much like FFXIII.

You must not have bought that many games. Cheap skank.

Really hating people over a game they like? I mean I can understand having a lesser opinion. I mean I have a lesser opinion of Twilight fans ,but I don't hate them. After all I'm not a complete nerd and still want the ladies.

Man its truing into a witch hunt for FFXIII fans.

This is pretty much how I feel about them. At one time, I held Squaresoft up with the likes of Nintendo and Blizzard. They were a company I could buy a game from without reading reviews, and 95% of the time I'd get a great game out of it.

Now, not so much.

Closed mega theater is the most regressive thing for the industry to come out of these nuts.

Well, they're still going to announce the game and show some stuff publicly. We just don't know if we'll see some actual gameplay at this point.

I don't know if posts like this are serious or not.


And someone will probably leak info about the new game. I'm sure we'll all be in the know in a few months. I can't possibly imagine what they would release that would "shock" me though. Any game that WOULD shock me by them is so far out of the realm of possibility that I'm just saying this is just fluff.
 
As long as there's a trailer I can see without the aid of the gamer ninjas, I don't really mind.

At least the hint of a demo before we even know what this is implies that this probably won't be a repeat of the FNC compilation.

yes first FF together with 8 that really sucked. Love 12 now in comparison.
 
If it's so awesome, why don't you show it to the world? I mean it seems they hint at a playable demo. Means the game must be at a quite advanced stage.

But this is SE, every time they show footage it's in a closed theater.

well, what if i tell you that i absolutely love Final Fantasy XIII, almost as much as i love Demon's Souls (since you have that avatar and all).
