I got one day left to decide, since the price is 30$ cheaper now with boxing week sale. Im tempt to buy it, might get a 3 month ps plus with it, but im sure i wont stick around ( well i think ) with multiplayer. Last COD, Titanfall, Splatoon, Battlefield,they all hook me up for like a month or two, and after, i dont touch them. Might be sick in general of online fps shooters.

So that why im asking, is the single player stuff you can do in it, is still fun? Worth paying 50$ ? Is there any depth playing single player?

Even the decent bit of single player is crap, which is Survival missions. First off they don't have any co-op matchmaking so unless you've got eager friends who also have the game then you'll be playing solo and Easy is too easy solo, Hard is too hard solo, and extreme is so damn difficult it's not even the slightest bit enjoyable.

Not even worth $10 imo.

There's some training modes and a survival mode. It's really bare-bone stuff and not worth $50.

If your trend with other MP games are dropped after a couple of months, looks like you'll do the same with Battlefront.

Is it a bad game? I dont think so. I still have loads of fun with the game. Heck, I bought it on both XB and PS.

It's not for everyone since it doesnt have a "single" player mode. I dont mind it not having it since I prefer it that way for games that are heavy in mutliplayer.

The "single player" is just some missions to help you learn the controls (the speeder one is fun)

Then there's survival which is self explanatory and hero battles where you play as a hero/villain and kill stormtroopers/rebels

They're pretty fun but really not worth it

Not really, Titanfall didn't have any SP content at all. Battlefront has some, it's just worthless.

The question is if you like horde mode or not. I am going to eventually buy it just for that mode. I'm kind of a fanatic for survival/horde modes though. I play them solo when I don't have people to play with online or locally. I guess I treat them like people used to treat Robotron.

Not even close. Titanfall feels like Fallout 4 compared to it. Its a tutorial. In Titanfall you at least feel like you are doing something. This is just random drop in map and learn to jump.

I play it in "single-player" with my son. Basically I bought Star Wars: Horde Mode for 40 bucks. Him being 6 years old and currently addicted to everything Star Wars certainly helps it pay off. Hell, I used to have fun destroying an endless supply line of AT-ATs on the Atari as a child somehow, this must be unbelievable to him.

Beyond that, the game is shamelessly barebones. Gorgeous, but shameless.

The single player content consists of various training missions which allow you basic practice for some mechanic, some wave based survival modes and then some AI battles where you can play as a hero.

Definitely do not buy it unless you want to play the multiplayer or you're wasting your money.

i had a bunch of gift cards and a 10% off code and payed $10 of my own money for 8 games, battlefront was one of them. for that price it's worth it, especially if you have a co-op partner.

despite the lack of content, battlefront is a pretty & fun game. will try and platinum it.
