Star Wars Lethal Alliance screens (PSP)

... story-wise, didn't Kyle Katarn steal the Death Star blueprints?

You are correct sir, so I wonder if the developer takes note of that and somehow introduce that into the story. I think they will, because we only know right now that she has a mission, and that is to steal the plans. However, she wasn't the only one. And we all know a lot of Bothan spies died. :p

I really hope they keep that in mind, because if they don't, the story's going to be all kinds of ****ed up.

No screens yet, but I'm not surprised there aren't any after reading Thomper's post

The DS version is suppose to rely more on the touchscreen though

Made by the same group that did King Kong DS.

Don't expect much.

The French publisher has signed "a long-term licensing partnership with LucasArts," which owns the Star Wars video-game licensing rights.

This sounds like horrible news because the Raven Jedi Knight games were all published by activision. Now who is going to make a wii lightsabre game.

A little off topic, but I'm not able to open threads, so:

PSP 2 in March 2007?

This is a interesting one, maybe someone can make a topic out of it.

PSP 2 won't happen anytime soon. If they abandon PSP now, the consumer and the developers will be really pissed and PSP 2 will automatically be doom3d. They need establish PSP really well worldwide if PSP2 is to be released.

If the upgrade actually effects gameplay i'll be so choked.

I don't mind having to buy a new memstick to play newer and bigger games but if it adds another stick or clocks faster or anything like that i'll probably abandon the platform.

The PSP is technically a 333 Mhz device that is choked off to 222 Mhz for all commercial games. I kinda doubt that a redesign will feature better specs, particularly since the current hardware isn't even close to maximized (outside of perhapd homebrew).

Have you played the game? Everyone says it's good because they're holding it up against all the other shoddy control implementations of most PSP games.... It's like comparing a sculpture made out of crap to a regular peice of crap -- both are sh1t, one's just better by comparison.

Personally I think SOCOM has had the best third/firstperson shooter controls so far on the system.
WHAT?:lol Is this some stealth trolling or what's your agenda. DM has 3 great control schemes.

That's been rumored for months now. Reached a fever pitch before E3.

I wouldn't be surprised to see something like that eventually (especially if Sony goes with downloadable games beyond just the PS1 titles), but March 2007 seems too soon. 8 gigs of flash memory isn't incredibly expensive these days, but it ain't cheap, either.

Great compared to what? Dual Analogs, Mouse and Keyboard, or other PSP games? Just because you can adjust enough to a platform in order to adequately play a game doesn't make the controls great (by normal standards, anyway). All I'm saying is that I hope the controls aren't as gimped as 90% of the PSP games of this type.
