The use of bullshots is impressive, most impressive.

*edit* oh and i think ign was saying something about the game i forget check this link i dunno...

nah im being mean again those are obviously bullshots, but it is a step above other PS2 portjobs (considering the other aspects of the game are reportedly well done).

what's with those character select screens?

Is there a Masters of Teras Kasi multiplayer component in there?
If so, is there multiplayer in the 360/PS3 versions?

It's the Wii-exclusive duel mode. Really awesome duel mode from most accounts I've read.

It's too bad they made that wii exclusive. It would have made the other versions must buy.

I still have low expectations for this. But I'd love to be surprised.

But to be honest, even the HD versions don't look orgasmic either.

Surprised by the lack of jaggies and the higher res textures, but then again thats what they dude at Krome said they would be doing for the Wii version.

Day 1.

Not enough jaggies to even consider real.

This may be fun in multiplayer, but I think I'll go with one of the HD versions.

I'm so conflicted over which version of The Force Unleashed I should buy. I'm sure reviews will make my decision easier, but for now, I don't know if I should get the 360 version for surround sound and better graphics or the Wii version for motion controls and duel mode. But the Wii game doesn't seem to have the control scheme that I want in a Wii sword fighting game, so meh.

Don't know why these should be major bullshots aside from the added AA and resolution. These look good but not that good. Models and textures are decent, I guess.

For comparison Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
They definitely improved the draw distance!

Even with these being bullshots (AA) their PS2 nature shows (low poly). Still cautiously optimistic.

What are we with pics that aren't representative to the actual game graphics?
Welcome to current gen (had been done before too).

Yeah the snow shot was a bad environmental shot but I thought it showed off the model decently.

You know what will sell me on this game? a demo on PSN or XBL. While this seems obvious for most games, it is especially true for me with this game. It kind or reminds me of this gens version of Psi-ops. The demo was so much fun to fuck around with that it sold me on the full game.

Looks decent, but I think some of these shots are old...at least it seems like I've seen them before. I want to see some actual shots that aren't bull-shots, though.

Still, IGN's preview of the game seems positive, but the lack of IR really hurts. Being able to move enemies around with the pointer was something I was looking forward to. :(

You seriously think those are bullshots? The textures are decent but the character designs are obviously PS2-quality. And check out those particle effects in screenshot 3! Sheesh! Metroid Prime 3 looked WAY better than anything posted here. Probably plays better, too, on account of the fact that TFU gameplay was designed with Euphoria in mind at the beginning. I'm sticking with the 360 version.

By the way, why the hell are Ani and Ep3 Obi-Wan playable? Ani's Vader now and Obi went into exile, since this takes place after Ep3.

Shit I had to go back and erase everything I just typed out where I slammed the game.

When I just looked at those screens, I started laughing at them thinking there's no way in hell that's next-gen graphics.

I missed the part where he said, 'Wii version' at first.

And Darth Maul is dead. It would be because it's just the duel mode and not directly related to the game's story.

The previews remain positive so I'm moving closer to buying this game on the Wii.

by bullshots i'm pretty sure everyone's referring to the AA and resolution.

and yes, aside from that it doesn't look too good.

Have that many jedi been shown in the movies?

Oh, of course not.

Like the game itself, the material that they're using also comes from the various EU (Extended Universe, meaning books, other games and other extracurricular material that's NOT the films).

...Yet, for some reason, they're not giving us Kyle Katarn, who's really the consummate EU Jedi for a lot of us (especially gamers). Why Lucasarts? Why?
