Personally, based on everything I have read it sounds lot like fallout 4 in space. Poor story, middling mechanics and lots of crafting etc. So 85-89 is popular prediction for a reason.

I think 94. It'll skew higher because Xbox publications give out much higher (and sometimes ridiculous scores) for exclusives.

I'm gonna guess low 90s, like 91 or 92. Anything less than that will probably be taken as a disappointment.

Without having played it, anywhere from 85-95 would seem pretty reasonable to me, but it would be surprising if it fell outside of that range.

Maybe I'm too optimistic, I vote 92, If Bethesda really delivers it will be amazing. I'll be playing this on PC because 60fps, I'm not that hyped, but I'm confident enough to get it day one.

Actually this year there will be a new award called Phil Spencer excellency award and it will go to Bethesda.

For me I know the game will suck as every other Bethesda game in the past. And people will love it. Strange world we are living in.

I think BG3 might have stolen some thunder for "RPG" part this year so, without BG3 it probably have been scored higher in the 93-95 range, with BG3 out and how good it is, i'm estimating a 90-92 score.

BG3 is my GOTY so far. Mind blown by it.

Even if the bolded is 100% true......the hype, art, and being in space alone should push it from a 85-89 to a 90+ though. We don't get these types of games often. A scoring premium to me is warranted.

Can't see a sub 80 metascore happen unless critics go super salty and lower the score because they didn't get a review code.

But I don't expect 90+ either.
