Starship Troopers came out in 1997 it is pretty random that this just seemed to come out of knowhere from Dotemu but it is actually a pretty interesting First person shooter. But is it worth buying? Let's find out!

I have this in my wishlist. Looks fun but it seems to be 4 hours long max. Not sure I want to pay 25 EUR for this.

So after finally finding time to finish all human & bug missions I have to say some parts were a little underwhelming. Like the final mission didn't feel like it was this grand finale, in fact the second to last boss was cooler and some earlier missions ended with a bigger bang (literally). The bug missions also felt like a cheap way to extend the playtime using the human campaign maps. You play them all as the same type of bug and even though you can morph into 1 of 3 variations you're still doing roughly the same things (destroying human buildings to fill the bar and take over locations).

I still had plenty of fun and it's a treat for fans of the (first) movie, no feeling of wasting my money on making the purchase.
