Oh, I meant to say want, not was. Arg, damn typos. I had no idea that my discovery of the game was so early on! Congratulations, it definitely looks like it'll hit all the right notes with me. I love all the sci-fi inspirations, and I've adored isometric since I first played Fallout. Seems like a game made just for me, and those don't come along very often! I'm envious of your creation! The first time it hit the internet was December 2010...so that sounds about right!
So good
How's the UI? Scalable\readable from a distance? I play on an HDTV from about 6ft back. Sanitarium mention has me all kinds of interested.
Current UI is not scalable - but that has been added to my changelog. I'm honestly not sure when Ill get around to it tho.
Should be readable on a 1440P monitor at least?Current UI is not scalable - but that has been added to my changelog. I'm honestly not sure when Ill get around to it tho.
It's up on GOG! Installing it now.
Yeah I just saw that. I thought it would be hours until it would go up.
Looks like I'm playing it today after all.
I can't wait
The Alien text fading in through the trailer was wonderful.
Added to the OTIt was a fitting tribute. Alien has had such a huge influence on my life - I just hope that that influence is felt in Stasis!
And yes - we are live on GOG.com!

I'm sure you're busy, however, will the soundtrack be available separately as DLC or on Bandcamp? Only got the lore doc in the KS, didn't spring for the music tier.
Whichever gives you and Mark the most cashish, I'll go for that.Currently only as DLC - but there will be a separate version in the future.
Safe to redeem code on GOG then?
Congrats for release!
I'm not sure I'll be able to refrain myself to buy straight away, but I'm curious if there will be an updated 'demo'.
I've just an old macbook and the alpha ran so and so...that's why I'm asking.
Also, no kidding and I know you are very busy now, I always wondered if you ever tried the 'export to iOS' feature of the engine...I would LOVE to play this in bed on my iPad and let it scare me the hell out of me.
I really do want an iPad version - and the interface would work pretty well with it, but if it does happen it will be in a good few months.
Why don't you often enjoy them? Just in general or due to obscure obtuse puzzles? I've found that for the most part the puzzles here are pretty logical. And there is tension and stakes because you can die in many horrible gruesome ways.Gah, I'm a bit conflicted about this title. In terms of content and narrative, it seems like something I'd like to experience. However, my experience with point-and-clicks is mixed, as I often don't enjoy them. I'm just not sure...
Bottom Line
A mixture of old-school adventure game difficult puzzles with a well-written, intense horror story will keep you up at night.
The kind of mind-fuckery present in STASIS is something special, something to be savoured. Ive been trying to play it properly as well: Only at night, with headphones and the volume cranked up to the max. And trust me, theres no other game on the market today that can deliver the kind of scare that STASIS can.
From what I remember in the previous thread or on the Steam forums, testers were going 8-15 hours depending on how puzzle smart you are, which is probably like 12-20 for people like me.Game looks amazing.
It's so refreshing to see older presentational styles revisited with modern sensibilities, kind of like Pillars of Eternity.
Any idea of the typical playthrough length?
