Just so. I did the same thing with HIB 2 when they gave away HIB 1, though not on this forum (I wasn't approved yet)bs000 said:I only see people giving away HIB #2 Steam keys. And those people probably bought HIB #2 when it came out, so they're just giving their extra keys away.

I think you misunderstand the intent.MNC said:Wow, Humble Bundle 3 seems to be doing bad if they're adding all kinds of games to it.

StuBurns said:Ummm, can you still buy the second bundle? I wouldn't mind triple dipping on Braid, but I don't want the rest, I can give them to GAF.
And I'll get separate keys for everything?bs000 said:You get the second bundle with the third if you pay more than the current average donation for the third bundle, which is $4.94 right now.
You select 'Go Offline', then you play video games.kamspy said:Can someone please shed somelight on how to use Offline Mode if you're not to busy exploiting charity?

Yeah, just found that too late. Shame.DarkSoul520 said:You'll get separate keys for each bundle (#2 and #3).
If you pay $5 or more, you get both sets, once you've paid you'll be given Steam codes for the two bundles, you register them on Steam, and that's it.Sutton Dagger said:Newish to Steam, don't know anything about these humble indie bundles or what games are in them, so can someone shed some light on what I should do? I'm buying #3 or something and then I get #2 sent to me as well?
StuBurns said:Yeah, just found that too late. Shame.
EDIT: I guess I can give away the Desura codes. But in the sense of the thing, I don't want people downloading Braid, Crayon Physics or Osmos because I'm going to play them on Steam.
Let me know if you want one of the bundles GAF.
EDIT2: And here's the Minecraft key:

Can't get it anymore. The games were World of Goo, Aquaria, Gish, Lugaru HD, Penumbra and Samorost 2.masterkajo said:I see that I can buy the HB#3 and get HB#2 if I pay more than 4,96.- but what about HB#1. What games are in it and where can I get it (doesn't seem to be on the site). I just heard of this HB idea and I love it.![]()
That's a good question, I gather it's a Steam alternative, but I don't know.Zzoram said:what is that?

It's only for a couple of weeks.Zzoram said:Is the Minecraft key just temporary or is it a full game license? I don't really understand the way it's worded.

The option is there for both.Zzoram said:Oh ok. How does Minecraft work, do you download a client or is it played purely in-browser?

Not sure, it's slow to load with having it locally. I'm actually having pretty rough performance, and I really don't think I should be.Zzoram said:does downloading the client result in smoother performance, or just less loading time?
Zzoram said:someone used it, not sure who
apparently there are a lot of lurkers who don't post when they've taken a key lol

Having it added to Steam I'd imagine, or on your desktop, etc.Zzoram said:If it's slow both ways, what's the benefit of downloading the client?

While it can be played in it's current state, they are still working towards a finished product. I'd expect to see it on Steam once finished and the game will become available to owners of the key so you can play it on Steam at no additional cost.
