Can confirm this seems to be a global outage for the most part. Seems like the EU and United States having issues. Off to play my PS4 Pro. :messenger_beaming:

I cry about SonyGaf from my chair in Redmond, WA
Just like @DunDunDunpachi, you know what I'm here to preach

All of the above are amazing RPG games that I personally consider to be among my favorites. They all have pretty steep discounts too.

Dragons Dogma was so disappointing overrated. Got it in a humble monthly and people said the game was so great.

Turned out to be insanely mediocre at best.

can't make topics but if anyone thinks its worthy to discuss please do make one. Anyway thought this was interesting and kinda sad at the same time: https://www.pcgamesn.com/steam-gran...eCTKg_4uHHCAFH77iuFcL2UQGmCX6faK45LEvGtwai46o

One one hand I get that giving away free games is a cool way to make these sales interesting but how they chose to do so is indeed a bit lame since most ppl dont even know how to edit their wishlists or the fact that the winners only receive at best their top 3 games in their wishlist, making the removal of indies pretty stupid.

So I bought some games and did the boost thing. I'm pretty sure you all noticed. It was, like, super impressive.

Now I can only boost 100 points per day

Valve "fixed" meta game, and clarified its rules.
Apparently, indie devs were upset because people were removing games from their wishlists

tbh, there's really no fixing it since it's poorly thought out and executed in the first place.

How do they know it's because of the giveaway and not just people cleaning up their wishlist for a sale?
The rules from the Grand Prix meta game specifically told people to update their wishlists but it was worded quite poorly. People trimmed their wishlists thinking that this might improve the odds of winning a specific game they want, even though this was not the case.

Incredible that points aren't reset each day for you to fill back up from playing games and getting achievements. Only being able to increase capacity by buying games each day is something I would expect to see from Tim Sweeney.

Congrats to the winners at Magic Mountain on Day 3, and a special welcome to the podium to Pig... in a Blanket! Corgi would appear to be unstoppable, but the Grand Prix can still be taken by any of the teams.

The first few days of the Grand Prix have been dynamic and dramatic, to the point that some of you have started to wonder what's going on under the hood. We want to assure you that we are not manually intervening in the outcome of a given day's race. Each team's progress is fueled by its active number of players and the points and boosts they contribute.

Racers, we’ve heard your feedback – you want to race! We have added more ways to participate in the Grand Prix for free. Introducing: Qualifier Tasks. Now in addition to grabbing deals in the Summer Sale, players may join the races for free by first completing one or more of these objectives. Each completed task increases a driver's max points by 500, enabling you to complete Grand Prix Quests and claim Achievements.

Also, you know those Achievement points we made you throw away rather than claim? Those are now back in the hopper, ready for claiming. Additionally, whenever you claim Achievement points, any available beyond your current max points will now be saved. You can increase your max points and then return to claim them at any time throughout the Grand Prix races.

We've also tried to clarify the team positions with some changes to the track – let us know what you think!

Lastly, we've heard you on the Grand Prix Badge. Man that thing is hefty! It is awarding *signficantly* more XP than intended. We'll be fixing this bug soon, lightening the value of the badge. While this may be dissappointing in the short term, we want to respect the value of past and future badges earned and feel this correction is the fairest measure we can take to make things right. If you no longer love your Grand Prix Badge, you will be able to exchange it at the Pit Stop for the number of of tokens you've spent on it.

Best of luck to all the teams in the Rainbow Ring during Day 4!

Valdis Story: The Abyssal City. The best indie metroidvania no one played. Great combat. Great customization via skill trees and fun platforming. Even the soundtrack is amazing. Every aspect of the game feels like it was made by a triple A-team of old-school veterans despite it being pulled off by only three people. Seriously, check this game out. It's only $5.25 US.

Rise of The Tomb Raider, Quantum Break and the rather lovely Pankapu (double dipped after playing through the Switch version) are my purchases so far. All for less than €20 :)
