Damn, I only sold it for $3
I saw you selling the Retro one, I just happened to hit a magic spot last night where nobody had any up and thought "I wonder what I can price this at and still have it sell"

Steam is unable to make any distinction between leaving the game on the main menu ("idling") and actually playing the game; therefore, simply having the game executable running in any form is enough to let the system drop cards.Do you actually need to play the games to get the cards, I see people on here all the time talking about 'idling' the games.
Started setting up a wiki...any help is really appreciated. It's going to take awhile and I don't have access to all the artwork/backgrounds.

Why don't you just contribute to this one... http://steamtradingcards.wikia.com
Nice, I got the EXACT profile background I was eyeballing on my first Faerie Solitaire crafting.

I might be able to craft a couple more levels of the badge by the weekend, if I get a duplicate I'll pass it on to ya.oh, rad! that's the one i'm eyeing too...
i didn't get the Don't Starve one i wanted (The Birds and the Bees and the Dogs) when i crafted the badge and now it's selling for like 2 whole spacebucks!

Of course, it's only about twenty cents right now, certainly not a bad price if you sell pretty much any other background or emote.
You think that's bad? The Half-Life 2 background I want ("Rise and Shine, Mr. Freeman") is going for $6 right now.
I mean, it's a rare background, but still...
So on TF2 I have to actually spend money to get cards, right? That sucks, I just started playing TF2 and I don't think I need to start spending money on it yet.
Yep, for every nine bucks you spend on the game, you are allowed another card drop.
Is there an updated list of games with trading cards in them? It seems all I have installed have none.
I don't really like the limited drop system. I get the idea, but right now it's so limited. The "trading" aspect is pretty limited, given that your cards disappear once you craft badges.
All roads lead to spending money on the marketplace/TF2, which is... lame. There's no sustain on the consumer end.
These games now have Trading Cards, Emoticons, Profile Backgrounds and Badges to collect:
Left 4 Dead 2
Sanctum 2
Go Home Dinosaurs!
Triple Town
Cubemen 2
Thanks to the developers and to everyone participating in the beta. Please keep the feedback coming!

It will say 'foil' right in the name, and the card's border color will be silver.how do you tell a foil card?
I got two Witches... but they don't look special

Why so little info in the op? Anyway, a couple of Q's:
- How long do you have to idle in each game to get cards?
- Can you keep the game minimized and just do other stuff while idling?
