Steams tyranny continues. Super Seducer 3 was complely removed from steam

Steam is a platform for distributing video games. Frankly I don't consider LN's or dating sims games, nudity or not. I don't think there is any reason to have non-games or porn games on steam. If you want to play some pervy game there are plenty online elsewhere.

You are a fucking idiot and in the wrong community if you are trying to push ā€œI donā€™t like thr games therefore they shouldnā€™t be sold hereā€ mentality.

Fuck off back to Era.

Even if this was the case the question is why Super Seducer 1 and 2 are still there as well. Super seducer 2 featured a scene in a strip club with a women fdancin in the background all the time and she also only doe wear lingerie
That's a good point and I don't actually know.

Maybe they game legitimately has awful illegal or offensive content.

It just feels to me like there's some behind the scenes nonsense that is preventing this game specifically from being released.

I think the situation is caused by outrage culture and Steam simply did not want the backlash. Being USA company itself it's probably closer to home than if this would happend on GOG. Which kind of makes me think, why it's not on GOG? People love that shit.

Reading a bit more into this.
It looks like Steam have been messing them around for at least a month.
They'd submit the game then get denied then ask Steam for guidance and feedback.

They seemed pretty convinced that their final update would be published but then Steam turns round and says "no sexual depictions of real people". It seems like the game isn't actually porn though and other games have real people in them. A decent amount of FMV games available on Steam (Night Trap etc).

It makes you wonder what is actually going on behind the scenes with this game specifically. Assuming people will eventually stream it so the content will be out there and people can judge for themselves.

Best guess would just be that it won't be allowed because it's promoting pick up artist stuff?
The same thing happens with visual novels sometimes. Steam allows adult games but the actual people who have to approve them don't always agree with that. You end up with odd situations where significantly worse games are able to be sold.

It's annoying but there isn't much that can be done.

These rules are fucking bullshit. You can buy a game where you rip someoneā€™s spinal chord out but a game where you flirt with women WOAH SLOW DOWN WE HAVE STANDARDS.
Shoot someone in the head, shotgun them to bits, but when it comes to tits then itā€™s a problem? Shit donā€™t make no sense.

I suspect Valve is terrified that somewhere down the road it will come to light that one of those actresses fudged her paperwork and was underage. That's the only explanation I can think of when they have more animated/hand drawn sex on Steam than you can shake a dick at.
