Why no PS5?

Hard to say wether it will be a sleeper hit or not but I'm definitely keeping an eye on the game because it looks good. I preferred the name "Project Eve" though, not that it matters in the end anyway.

Does not instill confidence...I'm surprised Sony was intetrested enough to secure it as an exclusive. Perhaps are they using it to gain a foothold in the Korean market/dev scene?

As we know they've been pushing more in Korea and China cause of the dev potential.

Those two markets have more misses than hits but with guidance they can produce good product.

It seems like the greatest weakness in those markets is the combat usually feels wonky and lacks impact (not always obviously), otherwise the stories and designs are actually quite creative and we're missing creativity in this industry from a story perspective

Exactly that. Also I detest the Korean plastic model culture. If it's an action game I want the main character to look like he/she can fight, not to be a model posing with perfect hair and makeup.

But that is where you want your realism to stop (because...well....the rest of the game is so grounded).

Obviously you are free to not like a character's design, but this just seems like a strange justification for not liking it.

Well I told firstly that I just don't have enough time for two console to play enough. And back then when I decided which one the look was one point of it. Not sure why this such a big thing. It's just one personal opinion and I think I am allowed to have that

I wonder if this is getting a 2023 release or if it's slipping into 2024. It could of course be announced at the upcoming Playstation showcase but I have no memory of 2023 being mentioned in the trailers and nothing else indicating it releasing this year (correct me if I'm wrong).
Looking forward to seeing more of it nonetheless, especially now that SIE is publishing it.

Damn, I totally missed it when watching the State of Play. Well, we will probably get to know more pretty soon. I could see it releasing this year but they'll probably make sure not to release too close to Spider-Man 2.

Sony seems to be talking about one game at a time. Unless we get a showcase. So for now it's FFXVI.
I bet once that releases they'll move to Silent Hill 2 or Stellar Blade. SH2 sounds like its about ready.

Yeah, same here. Obviously, the main character's design got the attention of my primal, reptilian brain, but it's the world and enemy design that has me intrigued.

It seems if it wasn't for the overly sexualized character this game would have little appeal. The environments are generic, there is no theme to anything, the combat is not particularly impactful, seems like a corridor hack and slash from the PS360 era.
