what an overrated guy, stephen colbert. Daily show is much better. plus, his material sucks a lot of times [not always] so his writers suck too.

and as someone else said, it's easy to blame the agents, but Colbert tells people what he wants. it's colbert, not the agent. yeah i know, betrayalton total, etc. Your hero's not so pretty now, is he?

Maybe Colbert doesn't want to associated with something as terrible as WoW. If he states such a reason on his show, he will only be more awesome in my eyes.

Not 100% true, agents are hired so that stars don't have to know about everything they are solicited for. Many agents do operate with a degree of autonomy from the stars they work for.

Colbert lives right nearby and before he has his own show, I used to see him on the train into NYC. We actually had a little chat once and he was obscenely nice. But his agent sounds like an asshole, wasn't he the same guy who tanked Colbert's reprise with Venture Bros?

He's alluded to playing it on the show. Thought this would be something up his alley.

My bet is that now this is 'out there', Colbert will approve it straight away.

I thought so, too... but this story is a couple weeks old by now.

He tells them what he expects and they follow it. Seems pretty obvious with the way he is distancing himself from voice acting work in cartoons etc that he himself is backing away from all the "childish" stuff

I recently read he's done a voice for a CG movie.
