The nWo saving Sting still makes absolutely zero fucking sense

Sigh.

And the one WrestleMania he wrestled in wasn't against Undertaker. Goddamnit Vince, you had one job.

It would be terrible. Quit pretending like it'd be good. It would be TERRIBLE.

How gross is it going to be when Rollins does a buckle bomb on his first match back.

It's going to be awesome, because Seth is the best thing going. Sting is a respected vet. If those bumps occurred it's because he was okay with them occurring. It's not Seth's or anyone else's fault that his old ass body couldn't handle them anymore. Sometimes guys need Father Time to smack them across the face and tell them to quit.

Would it surprise anyone if Seth was told not to hold back? i'm not saying it happened, but i'm saying I wouldn't even be surprised by it. Ruining wrestlers who made a career outside of WWE is the norm by now

Sting would be another person who's a hero. The matches he's created over the years, I don't really watch it, but the fact that he's making it, I respect that.

It would have been better than Undertaker vs Bray or Undertaker vs Shane
or Triple H vs Undertaker 2 & 3
. And c'mon Vince, you of all people should appreciate that Undertaker vs Sting has much bigger selling power than either of those other matches.

Sure. But it would have been the drizzling shits, no matter what you're comparing it to.

Sting was having matches with guys around the same age and speed as Rollins in TNA frequently, like Bobby Roode or Austin Aries.

The difference is Bobby Roode didn't have to do a psycho driver off the ramps into a table because he knew Sting was older and he didn't need to rely on big indie geek moves for reactions to his matches

Yeah, Seth is an idiot. Why would he do those moves to someone who's almost 60?

One of my favorites until Starrcade '97. RIP Sting.

Oh, he's alive?

Uh, thanks for the pre-Wolfpac memories, Sting.

What moves are safe to do on a 56 year old? Father Time was coming for Sting eventually and it just so happened to be in the form of a Buckle Bomb.

Trash overrated WCW / TNA edgy superstar who couldn't make a gimmick of his own so he spent his whole career stealing from movies. Surfer dude, Crow, Joker, what a fraud.

Yeah, who could forget the classic film, "Surfer Dude", about the surfer who painted his face and beat up bad guys. So overlooked.

He did a powerbomb into a turnbuckle. It's mindless stupidity. More "gotta get these indie spots in to get some cheap pops" type of moves. Not nearly as shitty looking as his superplex into a Falcon Arrow spot, though.

I didn't want to be the first to blame indie wrestling fuckery and deal with "gimmick" cries but I'll gladly be the second.

Indie wrestling put Sting in the retirement home. This is fact.

Terry Funk was doing moonsaults at that age.

Flair did a ladder match with Edge, but he's kind of a freak.

He is my favourite wrestler of all time.

A true legend and a phenomenal performer both on mic and in a ring. I'm amazed that he managed to wrestle for so long [I watched his entire run in TNA].

Look at how HBK wrestled 60 year old Ric Flair. You never had to worry that Flair was going to get crippled in that match. Everyone watching who saw Sting take the buckle bombs knew that was incredibly stupid as soon as they saw it.
