Some gifs while we wait.
According to Google Maps, the guy they're chasing is about an hour from the state line. That's probably as far as he gets.

So the guy isn't running A/C so that they can conserve the gas I'm going to assume. Which is why the windows are down?
I am thinking so but the drag from having the windows open is nulifing that difference I would assume. So the guy isn't running A/C so that they can conserve the gas I'm going to assume. Which is why the windows are down?

Fox went down but it's back up for me.

Using A/C wastes less fuel than driving with the windows down. Due to the aerodynamics introduced at freeway speeds, having the windows down creating drag = less fuel efficient than running the A/C. In a modern car, A/C barely uses anything extra.
How modern of a development is this? I have a 2001 CRV and on hills we have to turn off the A/C otherwise the car isn't powered as much and it struggles to climb it.
