Stranglehold PC System Requirements (probably fake...)

I think the 2 gigs of RAM for minimum specs is pretty outrageous too. How the hell does it work on 360 with only 512MB!?

This is why people don't play PC games much these days.

This is the only game I've seen with somewhat high minimum requirements. Attempt at making PC gaming looking bad FAIL.

Holy moley minimum!!

15GB disk space, wow what is the standard PC HDD space.

Mother almighty, and I thought UTIII was going to eat a lot of space.

http://www.steampowered.com/status/survey.html

Steam survey shows that the largest segment of participants has 10gb to 19gb free...

10 Gb to 19.9 Gb 111,684 11.16 %

And the largest segment has over 250GB of total HDD space.

Above 250 Gb 252,978 25.29 %

lolwhat.

My point was that in general, way too much focus is placed on graphics, alienating the majority of PC owners.

More devs need to be like Blizzard and Valve.

Supreme Commander disagrees.. Half the games I actually wanted to play in 2007 on my PC, my rig couldn't handle it. I don't have a killer rig, but it's not a POS either (Athlon 3200+, 1.5GB RAM, GeForce 7600GS).

It's the truth.

Not only is console gaming more comfortable (a nice couch + a big glorious High Definition 720p screen + 5.1 surround) but the games look better and play better on a console.

Call me when PC shooters finally catch up to revolutionary games like HALO, HALO 2 and HALO 3.

:lol

Quite ridiculous to attack pc's on their strongest points; high resolutions, surround sound support & fps-games.

Does WoW not count as PC gaming or what?

Probably considered a non-game or some such nonsense now.

Hardest thing for me to do is to pinpoint who is more annoying, console elitists that pack this forum to the brim or the PC elitists who pack pretty much every other tech forum to the brim.

Call me when PC shooters finally catch up to revolutionary games like HALO, HALO 2 and HALO 3.

This MUST be a joke :lol You're either a brilliant comedian or batshit insane.

Wow, I'm RIGHT below that because I don't have a dual core. 7800GTX and 2GB memory is what I have and I couldn't imagine it would be this quick before it became MINIMUM. The game doesn't even look THAT great either!

You do know there's a difference between running a game and maxing it right? If you don't max anything, you'd be surprised how well things run. That PC is more than enough for any title released this year so far, Stranglehold with these ridiculous minimum specs (X1300 on par with 7800 wtf?) would be the absolute first, and would be the only one for probably at least a year.
