Quite ridiculous to attack pc's on their strongest points; high resolutions, surround sound support & fps-games.

High Definition is better than High Resolution, not only that but PC monitors are small screens and HDTVs are big screens, making the graphics better.

Sound on a PC is limited to 2 crappy speakers or a pair of headphones, where as on a console you can have it hooked up to an entertainment center where you can have surround sound so here again, consoles are better.

And :lol @ FPS games with a keyboard and mouse.

Educate yourself next time before making such ridiculous statements.

Gigs are not the issue here, storage is so cheap I haven't had to burn a DVD in months. I just got a 500GB eSATA drive just for backup and it's not even half full.

Dual core proc and 7800 or higher is ridiculous though, and 2 gigs of RAM should be recommended for every PC game.

I recall being told (by teh insiderz) that much of the UE3.0 renderer had been rewritten for Stranglehold. If these specs are real, I'm guessing it's just a lazy port. I guess we will know for sure re: UE3.0 when GoW hits.

I call shenanigans on those specs. If a 3gz C2D with 2gigs of ram and an 8800 series card will run Gears no problem (according to Epic) then no way in hell those are minimum requirements for a game like Stranglehold.

Even if we've no first hand confirmation, it's quite obvious they are fake considering a 7800 is 3-4 times faster than a X1300.

I'm referring to the one before that. it was a very poorly done attempt at sarcasm. example:

"I hate Nintendo, just a bunch of cheap kiddy games and nothing hardcore. The Wii's a joke."

Now I could easily claim that as satire but it's so bad I would expect people to think I was serious, just like his post. it read like a uninformed troll, not a joke. it's on the same level as a puncline that falls flat. it does actually take some semblance of wit to make decent use of sarcasm. can't just post anything and think the knowledge in your own head that you don't really mean it will instantly make it funny.

Indeed, HDTV tech is so much more advanced than the archeic TFT tech used in the PC arena, also, when will PC gamers learn that Dual Analog controls are just the control method of choice? It's madness I tells you.
