It's 70F here. I feel lucky because this time of year it's usually 90F+ with a hundred thousand percent humidity and armies of mosquitoes at my door step.

I'm sweating just looking at those temp maps.
I might just spend Wednesday in a bath of cold water.

Going to a crowded festival on friday, it'll be around 30 degrees. Also, I have a solar allergy. So that's going to be fun.

Also another fun fact - AC units at my workplace went to the other side and repair is too expensive, so it will be even hotter in store . Perfect working conditions for losing weight :D

As someone who grew up in Australia and currently living in California I'm 'avin a bit of a giggle m8 at what Europeans consider heat waves.

Seriously though, good luck to you EuropeGAF. *salute*

Move to Spain or somewhere. I like it just fine. Low 20's > high 20's. Fuck 30+.

This actually might as well become reality in the next 15 months or so. I am thinking Australia, specifically Gold Coast. Hopefully things will turn out fine.

Let the sunshine in.

It's a different *kind* of heat though. I find British 30c unbearable, whereas when I've been to Texas, it just feels so much more pleasant at similar temperatures, for whatever reason.

As someone who works outside, next week is going to be hell.
Where were you? Because Houston humidity and mugginess is not pleasant at ALL

44º right now here in Seville (Spain). Not the highest I've seen but hot indeed.

Well, Seville becomes a frying pan in the summer. Up here in the Basque Country we usually have more moderate temperatures, but this week we are dangerously approaching the 35ºC, which is already too much for me. Right now we have 25ºC and I'm already disliking it.

God I would be so happy with over 30 Celcius. It's only like 19 Celcius here in Finland and evenings feel chilly. Swimming water is too cold still also.

I can barely handle 25 degrees Celsius, 34 will slay me :( My studio apartment gets so hot in the evenings. Also 21 degrees at night time? Kill me now

Thankfully I have work in the weekend (with A/C!!), but my apartment will be hell when I get home I'm the evening

All over really. Last time I was there, we landed in Houston to thunder showers, which probably cleared the air somewhat. Might just have fallen lucky. The worst humidity I have ever encountered was in Tobago - just leaving the house we stayed in, and *boom* instantly drenched in sweat. Vegas in August wasn't pretty either!

Death would be preferable.

I literally dread Summer from the winter solstice until it's finally over by October (hopefully), it truly is a living hell.

I´m gonna wear bathing shorts to work (those that are knee long) with flowers on it. I work in IT and yes, i visit the management floor with the CEO in it a lot. I don´t even care.

this is how I'm going to be in London

Same here in Birmingham.

lol that gif is called 'meltyman'

The weather reports here in the UK have been saying that we are going to have a heatwave this coming week.

The week just gone it was like living next to the sun, it's hot enough already!

As soon as the weekend comes round it will be raining no doubt.

I was at Croke park today here in Ireland for the GAA and it was sweltering. Its supposed to be 26ºC next week. I'm going to melt. I can't wait for the winter to come back, its my favourite season by a country mile.

I live in Madrid, 38-39 Celsius degree today, nothing uncommond for the time of the year, this year the hellsummer has come early but we are used to. in fact there's a Little proverb that says "Madrid, nueve meses de invierno y tres de infierno", which is translated as "Madrid, nine months of Winter and three of hell"

Id really love to see gafs country breakdown for users, I had always thought Europeans were a minority here, looking at a thread like this makes me think is Americans may be the minority.

I live in Texas and love the heat, I would have no sympathy for any of you except I realize most don't have AC over there. For that you have my condolences, that would be miserable.

another gaffer from Madrid here, thank god I have AC at home

on top of everything 1 million of tourists are expected to arrive for pride week lol
