NO to Dell! I have the 17" Inspiron 9300 (which is like yours except with two year old parts) two vertical dead pixel lines from top of the screen to the bottom that appeared within a month of each other. They're about 5 inches apart and it's bothersome when I'm watching videos.
I think my laptop is the ugliest thing ever, and I'm surprised that Dell is still using that case. I could understand Apple reusing the Macbook Pro case, but with this case they should have redesigned it after 2 years.
