Suda51/Mikami EA Project confirmed for TGS

Finally, I feel like I've been waiting forever to hear something substantial about this game. The people working on it are amazing so high hopes for awesomeness.

If you mean staff-wise, then

Suda: Director
Mikami: Producer
Akira Yamaoka: Music

and that's all we really know for sure, based on interviews and the like.

Oh shit. I seriously thought that I dreamed Yamaoka was doing the music for this one. This will be an interactive entertainment title to take note of. *aneurysm*

Okay thanks. I'm not too excited, I think Suda has some great ideas, and his team clearly put together interesting games visually etc, but I think he's a terrible game designer. Where as Mikami is amongst the best so I was hoping he'd be handling game design with Suda having more of a creative director role.

Do we know what Q are doing on it? I remember reading they were working on it.
 
Can't wait for this. I'm hoping it's some kind of surreal survivor horror game, but if it's a badass action game, I'd be cool with that.

But seriously, I can't wait to see just what this trio will come up with together. It should be something special.

In an early interview, Mikami touched on guiding or supervising the game mechanics. I can't exactly say I remember if that was what was said word-for-word, but it was the point communicated across. I'll try and see if I can dig up the article.

No clue what Q are doing for this. It's anyones guess. I bet it will be a nice surprise though!
 
Horror game with Crows Zero influence and main character with a cool watch. I wonder just what the hell kind of game this could be.

Also, I think it's safe to say the Wii and PC versions don't exist.

Who would confuse Mikami with Kamiya? It's easy to remember. Mikami has "kami" in his name so you know he made Okami.
 
This year's TGS will eviscerate the lackluster E3 we had to put up with. Bombs will drop. Heads will explode. Hype train will ride again!
 
I'm glad that after four years of no new games we are going to get 3 Mikami games in a relatively short period of time (Vanquish, this game and the one he's making with his new company).

EA's official policy is to announce games approximately 8-16 months in advance.

My guess would be Q1 2012.
