Tool_to_balance is a picture of a lamp

I just extracted that and the van.

Guess what the van gives us? Part 3/3 of the submission URL lmfao..

The lamp is interesting. Can you see a code on it? I've zoomed in and got nothing. Pretty low res. So whatever this is.. it's probably to do with the lamp code right?

What the hell does the whole black and white balance tool mean?

So, what's the password for those of us unfamiliar with Tree traversals? Pretty please? :D

Edit: Boy, do I feel silly. D'oh!

Can somebody please put all the evidence slices in order so they are readable. I'm at work so can't really spend the time to do that now. They must have some clues in them I'd think.

So it is the in-order traversal of the initial tree we got. The shredded evidence needs to be put back together, which I don't have the patience for.

nice so my tree traversal thing actually worked..! just needed the right person to figure out where to put it..

good work Logikk

If you run different tree traversal schemes on that you get different outputs:
1) Pre-order = http://m86215o4c665.com/
2) In-order = doesn't seem to be valid / not sure
3) Post-order = http://2165846cmo65.com/
4) Level-order = http://m8o654c21665.com/

The first one is the vans site, second one I'm not sure on, 3 is the evidence zip site, and 4 is the '@' symbol puzzle. So these 4 seem connected somehow.

My post from earlier this morning. I had the in-order traversal but it wasn't a valid website or anything. So, figured it had to be useful for something. And viola!!

These shredded pieces are cray cray. Does the whole left to right thing mean anything with these?

I think the ordering goes from left to right:
first image from 1 -> first image from 2 -> 3 -> 4 ->5 -> now go back to 1of5.zip (2nd image) -> ...

Just a guess. Or maybe they are 5 different images. I really have no idea. I really want to order them, but can't right now.

Brightness setting in photoshop :)

Omg I keep missing things ffs. I did that a second ago but didn't spot anything.. just messed with the levels again and lo and behold there it is!

Some of them are kinda hard to make out though.. I tried what I thought it said but got an error?

Currently putting them all together done about a 1/4 so far.

dave is ok has correct code sorted

Woke up and wow, some finds, awesome job!

So it is official that the DNA stuff is useless and was just a waste of time, because it seems like it.

On the upper neck of the lamp, on the lower extension. It's really pixelly though and I can't clean it up any better than what I've posted in the picture above. Code website seems to accept it though.

Although in saying that it accepted XX3dYG7443 too, so I'm not sure >.<

Yeah you have to fill blank fields with something. It flags blank boxes before wrong codes.

Anyone worked it out?

What kind of program is necessary to work on the shredded evidence, aside from printing them all and then cutting and working on a huge jigsaw.

I'm working on folder 2, MisterBo is working on 1. If someone wants to tackle 3-5, please state so. That way we all do not work on the same thing and waste our time fitting these pages together.

What I find most fascinating is that out of all the forums I go to, we're the only place other than Reddit who are working on this? That can't be right >.<

XX3dYG7443 doesn't seem to work for me, when I fill in the rest (except the first 2) it highlights XX3dYG7443 in red as if it's an incorrect code, I assume you guys are putting it in 'lamp'?

It is a bit odd that he rattles of five cities when you call that number. "Business hours are 9am to 10am in New York, LA, London, Dubai, and Tokyo." - Which would actually be a lot of different times...
