Any of you guys keeping up with P4A Golden? I just caught up tonight after remembering it exists and since I never played Golden this is my first time really seeing all of this Marie stuff.

I am I like it personally. I f someone doesn't like Marie then it probably isn't for them. I don't know when the action will start but I like just seeing the fun stuff right now.

Sometimes this decides to not work on me.It's weirdly flaky.

I think it's cause it's a not that un-equal of a playing field at most times (unless you play like Woolie did for awhile), with the high stakes of Nuzlocke rules for even temporary losses to be bad. Sprinkle in some RNG and you have an amazing potential for engaging moments.

I think the greatest failure of the Nuzlocke was Liam and Woolie always worrying about crits. It didn't let them experience a team-killing crit, which is absolutely devastating and amazing. That finale was enough to redeem it all for sure though. Glad the stakes at the end were higher than with Jared.

I just think pokemon is more interesting when viewers can talk to the person playing it and tell them things they didn't know, since there's always something someone doesn't know about those games.

We all forget the one time "Git gud" didn't work. The time he said it David Cage. Ultimate advice clashed with ultimate ineptitude.

I guess some people just can't git gud no matter how hard they try

Yeah, all of the one off stuff is actually really fun to watch.

I watched half of the first episode and didn't care for Swag Yu or the breakneck pace.

I was really hoping that this would be almost like a "New Game+" version of the story after how they handled the fight in the first ep, but having them do entirely new stuff is fine too.

I'd only disagree cause they hardly read the stream chat :P Though it does feel way more involved live.

So superman arguments (specifically Man of Steel ones) are popping up on the Hulk video.

Terrible. The end.

Well, can you blame them? It was mostly terrible because it was the end, though, if it was the average episode then it probably would have been calmer and more helpful.

It's not just that. The fans are crazy, and even at 2K the chat was a nightmare. I've seen Twitch chats that were much better with semi-similar view counts, though I guess you could chalk it up to novelty factor versus daily streamers.

People really want sempais to notice them man.

This fanbase is also pretty fucking intense, the mailbag is evidence enough.

Completely forgot about the stream yesterday... So sad. Though from what I've skimmed of the topic it sounds like avoiding the chat may have been for the best at least. Oh well, I was busy gaining all the levels in my friends Pathfinder game anyways.

I tried to but I can't get into it to the point that I can watch hour long things.

My biggest issue with keeping up is how fucking long and how fucking much of it there is. I realized Smackdown is worthless, and recently Raw has been hard to keep up on too.

I'm excited for the promise of Prince Devitt maybe coming to NXT, but I haven't heard any updates on that, not that I've been really paying attention.

I just wish we could go back to that post Mania hype.

The problem is that they keep fucking up whatever hype they got going for whatever reason. Remember how Cesaro was starting to be the hypest shit, then they break him away from the real Americans and go with Paul Heyman and then leaves him like 2 weeks later. Doesn't help he gets eliminated from the Battle Royal by fucking Heath Slater of all people.

Following isn't too hard since they make sure to explain everything so many times over the course of Raw. Things are bad when I don't even care that I miss it to watch Hotel Hell with Gordon Ramsey.

BTW, Spike TV has apparently cancelled TNA. Not like I cared one way or another.

I have never watched TNA, but I will miss the jokes people make about it.

And yeah, Cesaro was one of the hypest fuckers around, seeing him eliminated by Slater both filled me with despair that Cesaro got eliminated by goddamn Heath Slater but also filled with joy that Heath Slater actually did something.

I'm going to be at the August 11th Raw, so hopefully I get over my current ambivalence towards it by then.

They said his name... That's good enough for me goddammit!

And yeah, the recaps are the worst. Smackdown has almost no original content.
Smackdown has the unfortunate curse of either being super amazing or really terrible. There was a time where it was the best ACTUAL wrestling program but then it goes to complete crap for long periods of time.

I know there's some folks that are apart of character action-GAF in here, so hopefully you guys would appreciate some premium Bayonetta 2 that's come out of Comic Con. There's rarely a time where you get someone with actual skill demoing games like this, so I figure it wouldn't be a bad idea to spread this around as liberally as possible.

The video goes into a bit deeper into how the new weapons will function and they look absolutely amazing. If you're obsessive enough, you can probably take away some of the new skills that the game is going to introduce (like a W101-esque Rising attack using Jump->Punch). If you're not on media blackout, this is certainly worth drooling over.

So, let's just get a show of hands, how many of us in this thread actively watch wrestling? I've seen at least a few people talk about recent payperviews.
I used to watch it religiously but stopped somewhere in the early PG era. I still catch the occasional show and have tickets for when they come to my neck of the woods in August, but I do not like their current story lines and couldn't care less about Cena and the Wyatts or how they are pushing Miz

He looks pretty hot.

I fell off after the whole CM Punk incident.

Well, Liam cooks and he like fries with frosty. That's enough for me to want to get him to notice me.

I do, but I'm dropping off fast. These days the only thing that can get me to tune in is the potential for a Sting appearance. Otherwise, meh. Bryan's out, Punk's gone, Ziggler's being mishandled. Maybe if Ambrose gets pushed or Sami Callihan/Solomon Crowe debuts (he's from my hometown), I'll start to get back into it. Interested in seeing how they fuck up how they use KENTA, as well.

Goddammit, after hearing the Zaibatsu talk about it so long, I finally looked up Living in the Database.

NOW IT'S IN MY HEAD.

Database, database, just living in the database, wow wow wow wow...
