Well this is somewhat relevant my dad's side of the family is heavily into football, and muscle building mu Uncle Pat (not ginger Pat) actually won a few awards. So it took a while for my dad to realize I'm not into sports and like nerdy stuff way more. Never reached a bad level though so there were no giant arguments or awkward moments. Only thing is some of the muscle building went to me as I don't even work out much but I have big arms apparently.

When I evolved into my final form, Super Mega Black Nerd with a job, I became complete. So now, I got a shitload of bishoujo figures around my desk, which I use to watch my sport games, and monitor stats on my tablet, as I play some nerd game on the telly, while listening to some slam jam remixes.

God, I loved Nyaruko at the beginning. It was all wacky adventures and Kamen Rider references and shit. Then episode 7 happened and I dropped it like a rock. =/

I watched a few episodes of Haikyuu when it premeired then decided to wait for a backlog and haven't had time to go back, but I was impressed with what I saw, though it's at least a tad harder to take volleyball serious.
And I'd suggest watching Kuroko, sure, I watched the anime first, but I went back and I really feel the manga robs it of a good amount of the speed and impact.
It's pretty sad that no one in the NBA can do a chaos dunk

Much like Nyaruko-san, Baka and Test has a number of references to other animes. One episode has a scene where two characters communicate via Codec and the plot uses a lot of references to Eva, even the cross-splosions.
Do you have any idea how scary that would be o see Pat just buffed up one day

Edit: Aaron I feel your pain. I'm here in KY, and not even in the cool parts where there's nerds.
A PC release is what I really want from all my games now, cause it means we get all the possible best features to improve the games. A lot of 'Remasters' may even improve a ton of stuff, but having the game available on a platform where it can be fixed and enhanced by the community is amazing.
If anyone puts their SD consoles on an HD TV, I weep. CRTs are goddamn awesome and those 1080p CRTs are the most amazing things ever made.

Before I watched Haikyuu!! I didn't care for Volleyball at all. I only watched it out of curiosity and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. I think its because it has a nice mix of humor and sports.
I've been meaning to watch KnB for a while, but I just haven't gotten around to it. I'll try to make some time for it soon. How many episodes is it?

Yeah, I have some friends who love sports, and I have actually seen them yell at each other over which team is better, and almost get into fights a few times. One time one of our teachers was talking sports and one of my classmates almost yelled at him.

Music is such a weird thing with me, I don't give a remote shit about any of the specifics of music and just listen to what I like, so people keep trying to recommend me stuff and I almost always hate it.
