Godrobes is the Kamuis, and Ultima uniforms is the Goku uniforms. And yeah, I just looked, there still aren't non-Kamui/Godrobe versions of Ryuko/Satsuki announced. There's a fucking bikini one for Ryuko on Amiami and that's not even in the anime!
There'll be plenty more. The show's popular enough where I'm sure there will be a ton of different iterations.
I just think it's dumb the first run wasn't normal attire.

Luckily nobody's surprised to see my room filled with Gurren Lagann, Negima, Vampire Hunter D and One Piece posters/wallscrolls with Manga all over my shelves with robot and Digimon toys, and plushies of Cloud and Soul Eater characters.
I think everyone I know has just learned to expect to be depressed the moment they open the door.

I don't think there's really any obvious starting point with the figure line because they're all different manufacturers that license different GKs based off of the art. Isn't Godrobe their combat uniform? I haven't finished Kill La Kill.

That would've easily broken my no-figure rule if it wasn't polystone. I'm not sure if I dodged a bullet or greatly regret it. Probably the latter since it was the best thing ever.

Polystone?
For male figures I have to basically resort to Square-Enix Play Arts Kai or Figmas... which are okay, but certainly aren't the same quality, even taking into account the articulation.
I have a Dante DMC3 Play Arts Kai and a Guts Band of Hawk Figma.
Polystone is heavier, brittle (prone to breaking during shipping), and absurdly expensive compared to PVC figures. I think the trade-off might be some additional detail... anyway, that Guts figure will probably be $500+ as a polystone figure, and would probably be busted upon arrival. As PVC, it probably would have been sub $200.

I really regret googling polystone because there's so many insanely hype figures/ statues. Holy jebus, but yeah they cost 200+.

Alright, after putting up with waaaaaaay too many Hulu ads and having to search for the first time Ryuko actually says the name of her uniform...sorry Aaron, you must be mistaken. The Hulu subs use "Goku Uniform" and "Kamui".

Thanks a billion. Am I right in thinking this is a better investment than a savings acct? I'm legit gonna consider dumping my money into figures if I can make a great return 5-10 years down to road. Selling them and storage and security will be a pain, but hell it's a better investment than %.001
