Edit: If I can also, I recommend a series. I would say Re:Monster is a good series, I found it a few days ago and I've been reading it since. Just caught up to it and it's been interesting so far. Well, first give the manga adaptation a shot and if you like it try searching for the LN.

If we're recommending Manga. I'd recommend the Tsukihime manga. It's the only Visual Novel Adaptation that I find did the route it was based on justice. It has a really good horror vibe with great fights and some mystery to it.
