Oh you're just being too obvious about it. I know you can swindle me better then that Lyle. You've sold useless monorails to Ogdenville, North Haverbrook AND Brockway.
Fine. You're just jealous of Garoppolo and his good looks.

Even if you don't put Brady over Montana, there's no one you can really put over Brady except Montana.
You're constantly wasting your time. That's why we like you.
I want to believe you are joking but sadly your probably are not.
Why would that be joking? Remember after the spygate crap? it went from spygate to "why are they constantly running up the score" whine.
Glad you guys like me though, you, all da ladies, and Colts-GAF have something in common!
When Bill is gone and you guys are nobodies again, how many of you will stick around?
Do people still go to Celtics games? Honest question, not trolling. When Peyton left, we had trouble selling out playoff games, even with Luck.
Nah, the hashtag might be joking, but not in a playful way, but in a petty, "I'm gonna give you shit because I don't like your team" way.I just said people think your fan base is collectively the worst. I didn't say every Pats fan acts that way, but there are enough to make the fan base collectively notorious for it.

That is most certainly true. Especially if you aren't a big name defensive player. The call wasn't great, but the execution by the Pats was perfect. Can't play that any better than the Pats in that situation. Browner just erased his man so easily, and created that lane for Butler. In case you missed this. Here is a great breakdown on the Butler interception.
Like Belichick he tends to over think things. He's a great OC, but a lot of times he gets way way too cute. Was terrific in this run though for sure.
Carroll said after the game he expected Belichick to call his second timeout here, daring Seattle to score quickly and give Tom Brady the ball back. But Belichick didn’t do that. The clock kept running—50 seconds, 40 seconds—and suddenly time no longer seemed to be on Seattle’s side. Now Bevell and Carroll faced second-and-goal from the one, which is normally an invitation to slam Lynch into the line again and see if he can push it through. With a single timeout left and the game clock wasting away, however, Seattle no longer had time enough for three Lynch runs. If it was going to get off three more plays, one of them would need to be a pass.

Except that this time it was Belichick's thinking and ingenious decision that forced Carroll into that corner to make it all happen.
Everyone in the world, including me, every probability statistician, thought BB should have called a timeout. Heck, BB let the Giants score in the last superbowl, and saved time for Tom to try to tie it. So same scenario.
From the horse's mouth, Pete Carroll himself, thought BB would call what should have been an obvious timeout. But BB didn't.
So simple: How many short, quick slant passes has Seattle completed in this game? This season? It's not what they do. They lob it up, or Wilson scrambles around to pass. That's their strength. Two things they couldn't do with 20 some seconds left. BB takes away your strength, and running down the clock is what that did.
Belichick believed his goal line defensive unit was better than a -limited(20 seconds)- passing offense Carroll had on that field, so he wanted Seattle do use it, and he was ready to take his chances. Seattle has no intermediate or short passing game to be afraid of, it was the best possible situation for BB and his D, and he was either going to make Carroll call a timeout to change his unit and save one of his, or take his chances with a defensive unit that was easily able to figure out the passing play Seattle was going to make, thanks to running the clock down. It was thanks to running the clock down, that BB forced Carroll into running a quick catch and pass play, and nothing that would take a long time to develop, which is what Wilson's and Seattles' strength is.
Carroll should have called a timeout in that situation, as crazy as that is, once he realized BB was not going to, and either substitute for a run offense with Lynch, or save enough time for a wider possibility of longer developing passing plays that gave Wilson a chance. He banked on BB to call it, and BB allowed the clock to run down.
Once again, BB was playing Chess. Carroll tried to as well, but his chess game just wasn't as good.

I was there before Bill, and I'll be there after. In the old days, a winning season meant beating the Jets in the regular season at home. Why? Because Fuck You, Jets, that's why.
This is how I feel as a Dolphins fan. Beating the pats week 1 made my entire season even if it was mostly junk after that.
This is what we do as fans. This is why I do not trash other fans. We have all been there and will all be there again. I have gone to a bunch of Patriots/Bills game in Buffalo. I never rub it in, and people around me have always been nice. I used to root for the Bills or anyone (except the Jets) that came out of the East for the playoffs.

Nah, there have been plenty of Boston fans have been assholes since way before they were ever good. This whole "People hate us because we are popular." stuff is nonsense and is just what people say so they can self justify their shitty attitude.Nah, the hashtag might be joking, but not in a playful way, but in a petty, "I'm gonna give you shit because I don't like your team" way.
Anyways, you think Pats fans are the worst. I think you're just being petty yourself. Pats fans are no different than any other. If your team was doing quite well for a period of time I'm sure you'd see plenty of people hating on your team and its fans. That's how it always goes. People hate the success and anybody who is associated with it. Look how people went from not giving a shit about Seahaws fans 2 years ago to considering them awful now. Its stupid and it becomes this, basically:

The Seahawks are popular as shit and I don't hate them. I've cheered them on in the past two Super Bowls. The Giants have won the World Series three of the last five years, but I don't hate the Giants and don't have to deal with annoying Giants fans all of the time. I don't like Boston sports fans because they frequently display a shitty attitude.
Only because of the way the Boston fans respond to the winning. It just means they're willing to talk more then if they lost. The actual success of the team doesn't annoy me because I'm not actually annoyed with the team.I bet the winning adds an extra helping of hatred though.

Boston fans respond to winning totally differently than other fanbases. You heard it here first. Totally rational observation.

I dishonor joe for stating that he had a great system in place as well? I hear ppl blurt out this system QB thing like its a bad thing. Bill Walsh created a system and Joe didn't benefit from it all I guess. He did it all on his own. Fuck your kudos and eat all those colts failures. Luck will never be as good as neither Joe or Brady so chew on that.
Obviously this is way too soon, but if this group sticks together and maybe we get one more defensive piece and one more offensive weapon there is no reason why the Pats can't do this again next season.

I don't think we're much worse than any other fan base in a big sports market it's just that our teams have won so much over the past 14 years that it undoubtedly sounds worse.

Yeah, you do. That's why you're sitting here two days after a Super Bowl win with a chip on your shoulder whining about a hashtag at the end of a post that essentially boiled down to saying that your QB is one of the GOATs.Boston fans respond to winning totally differently than other fanbases. You heard it here first. Totally rational observation.
Speaking as someone who has had to deal with Boston fans since the late 90's I can tell you that Boston fans have been dicks for far longer then two years. I've never see more people thrown out of the stadium for being disruptive assholes then when the Red Sox come into town.Im sorry youre wrong about this. sox fans were not dicks 2 years ago. pats fans are being sucks because people have piled on them hard trying to invalidate their accomplishments. this one validated everything and only strong haters are clinging to it. when the pats officially are exonnerated of deflategate, were going to be the worst.

It's the childish incessant need to keep trying to prove to other people that your team is the best. Even in posts where people are saying that they're the best or at least as close to it as you can get. Then, instead of actually coming up with a rebuttal your best comeback was a tired school yard quip.
It's a delicate mix of persecution complex, arrogance and childishness that I don't see nearly as often from any other fan base.
The fact that all you've got is calling me delusional is proving my point in itself. You've got no defense for what I'm saying, so your best rebuttal is just name calling. You're already hitting two out of the three I mentioned.Of course we're not worse, or better. Fans are the same regardless. The only thing that changes really is when you win a lot. Then the expectations of the fans get higher, and the hatred directed at the teams ratchets up. Remember the heroic boys from Boston that vanquished those big meanies from St. Louis?
I gotta admit, it never gets old reading such delusional nonsense. More please.

So I read that Brady would love to give his MVP truck to Malcom Butler. Classy move if you ask me.
What would I be having a persecution complex about? You're here 2 days after the Super Bowl. Talk about persecution complex.
Keep proving my point buddy. Arrogance, childishness, and the need to try and point out how great your team is. All in one post. Really hitting the trifecta there. You're really showing me how my opinion is wrong by acting exactly like I said you would. You're the cherry atop the whipped topping on top of the dessert that was this season. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

People are saying Butler knew exactly what the Seahawks were gonna do. He studied the films and once he saw them line up like that he knew.
Not sure if I believe it but pretty awesome if true.
Also I dunno if I believe the BB intentionally not calling a time out. He's a genius but that's some next level iron balls shit.

The no timeout call proves it for me. There was no realistic chance of the Pat's D stopping Seattle from scoring. It was going to happen. Bill and the Defense saw something they knew, and played it to perfection. There no other reason why they wouldn't call the time out, unless you think Bill had given up, and I don't buy that.

I like when he said, "We just have to figure out how." How about, "Hey Malcom, here's the keys to the truck." ?
Apparently they ran the same play in practice that week and he screwed it up. Talk about addressing your mistakes.
Well wouldn't he want them to just score and get it over with so Brady had at least 20 or so seconds to march up for a FG?
Right? If Seattle scores, its 30 to 28. Would they risk a 2 point conversion to force pats to Hail Mary for a TD? Or would they play it safe with an extra point kick, and even if Pats get into FG range, they would tie the game up, forcing an OT.
Probably was referring to either tax issues between states, or maybe there's some clause that the MVP has to keep it for so long from Chevy. Could be any number of issues.

At practice they had that play, Butler said. The scout team ran that same play, and I got beat on it. [Belichick] told me, You gotta be on that. At that time, memorization came through, and I just jumped the route and made a play. I just did my job.
