As a Detroit Lions fan I can hold my head high knowing the city had the best commercial of the night, and we beat the NFL champions this season
 
So damn awesome that Rodger's cashes it in. Donald Driver crying is great to see as well. FU Aikmen, sorry you didn't get what you wanted.

A few reasons

A) Rothlisberger being a big one

B) Super Bowl XL, in which the refs called a bad game that the Steelers benefited from (even though Seattle made a lot of mistakes in that game)

If anyone from the NFC had to win, I wanted it to be the Packers. It was a great game, grats Green Bay.

Glad they did, though, it screwed over the two most obnoxious teams in any sport (the Cards and the Yanks) all at once.
 
I want to say to all of Steelers-GAF that you guys are awesome. Really. Some of the most entertaining posts on this board are made by you guys. And I'm a firm believer that in order to be the best, you have to beat the best. And the Steelers have been consistently excellent since picking up their fifth trophy. I'm glad it was the Steelers that the Pack beat, and not the chokers in Baltimore or the frauds in New England.

Fantastic game, everybody.

Definitely has the makings of one. Gotta worry about Woodson aging, and Driver too, but definitely some talent coming back next year though. Hopefully Aaron can protect that head of his.

OK. Except for a few drives in the second half Ben was terrible again in the Super Bowl and definitely is the reason the Steelers lost this game. The turnovers were the difference and he had 2 of them including the TAINT.
