what if it's co-op? c'mon, who doesn't like a good side-scrolling beat 'em up? and Smash will add platforming and such into the mix

Hopefully by some miracle it will turn out to be a blast, but honestly I can't really imagine what it could be like that would make it that much fun for me. I want competitive fighting against other players, not going through levels and beating up AI grunts.

I think the best case is that this is a Nintendo Hearts. Sidescrolling is more fitting to represent Nintendo than an RPG anyway. (Even though I do like RPGs just that slight bit more.)

Good point, I was thinking more of a dedicated Mushroom Kingdom Hearts game, but I'll gladly take this instead.

this is pretty much the biggest megaton for the game yet, not only is Brawl going to amazing in multiplayer, its going to have a nice singleplayer mode, something I always wanted in a Smash game and barely got in Melee.

now if they only add coop it would be insane.

Its also a very specifically named Adventure Mode. So its possible there could be other adventure modes.

Sakurai really wasnt joking though when he said he intended to make this game just insanely awesome.

Eh, I'd say that's debatable. I think Snake is still the only PLAYABLE MGS character, but we may see Ocelot or maybe Raiden in his story mode.

I don't know, I jsut sorta doubt that they'll have TWO MGS characters in this.

Cyborg Ninja(Raiden could work too) seems like the best fit for the game. Sakurai said how it was hard putting Snake in due to his reliance on fire arms in MGS, so basically everyone else in the series are gun wielders as well, making move sets pretty difficult while staying true to their character, especially Ocelot. So yeah Cyborg Ninja would be so amazing, I would love for him to be in it, Raiden would be ok too.

I'd like to think that the Adventure mode is all the major bosses from all of the present series as fighting against the characters, but that would seem like Meta Knight is acting as a villain. I just hope that Meta Knight is anything BUT evil. :|
