Holy shit they made ftilt for samus HORRIBLE. It has 4 different hitboxes now. Point blank barely pushes you away now and doesn't start tech chases at around 130%.
A new knee hits is complete shit, doesn't tech chase until 180
And spaced and fully spaced do a lot more knockback and can tech chase at around 40 but that means you can't tech chase at the 80-110 interval when you almost get a guaranteed charge shot into kill.

Missiles are faster, seems like a nerf for homing missiles but a buff for power missiles.

God I'm so pissed why the hell would they do that to ftilt!
 
Wow, Mewtwo, how I have missed you.

All of his sounds are either grunts of pain or laughs. As far as Mewtwo goes, it is definitely the first movie mewtwo and not the female mewtwo.

It's Melee Mewtwo directly. Which is the Japanese actor for the first movie.

The sound quality on his lines are... iffy. Definitely sound like direct GCN rips, you notice the same kind of muffleness on Jigglypuff's lines if you listen closely, as they are Melee lines as well.
 
Is the Wii U version update up in Australia?

I've got the update and Mewtwo code for my 3DS running fine but the 1.0.6 update for the Wii U isn't downloading for me. I've got my Wii U code but mewtwo doesn't appear in game because the game isn't on the latest version.
 
Mewtwo get!

He feels great in this game despite retaining the large majority of his Melee move set. I also noticed that they changed his side B animation when he has an opponent so now you can't get those sick stage spike setups at the edge. :lol
 
Just redeemed both of my codes with no problems. I've got Mewtwo on both Wii U and 3DS now. <3

I can't believe Smash DLC is finally a thing. I mean I can, but I can't. The onslaught begins now!
 
Just played a few games online as Mewtwo. He's so floaty, I really need to get used to that. His Fair has great kill potential. Disable is also great. When you land it at a high percent your opponent is basically dead.

I also killed a Rosalina by reflecting a charged luma back at her. Twice. Never played with a character with a refelct before so that felt great.

Been up for 5 hours.

Trying leaving it on the home menu for 30 seconds or so before opening Smash and see if that triggers the update.

The cool thing about that alt is it references Pokemon XD.

Which is cool in of itself because the original Pokemon alts referenced the alt colors in Pokemon Stadium. (Red and Green Pikachu, Yellow and Blue Mewtwo, Jigglypuff's old blue/green tints she doesn't have anymore)

So this is like, a callback of a callback. Back to referencing console Pokemon games in alt skins.
 
Installed it and I don't even see him.

EDIT: Oh that's weird it let me start the game without asking for the update with Mewtwo already installed for some reason. There we go.

Mewtwo, fuck yeah. Just as fun to play as in Melee for me. Might end up just as bad too, we'll see.

I think he's going to have trouble killing. His spike is fantastic, but it seems like that's intended to be what his kill potential cycles around.

Fair seems amazing, but the hitbox is deceiving and is not as good as it looks.
