I've been messing around with Mewtwo. Not sure if I'm feeling him. Or at least, not much about him has really clicked. The movement of his... everything feels a little off to me. Everything's a little faster or slower than I expect.His tilts are pretty good, but I'm still not sure I really have them figured out. He's certainly got a combo game, but I haven't really wrapped my brain around it yet.
His properties just throw me off a lot. He's fun, but I'm not sure he's for me.

I don't see why a paid character has less features than the ones that came in the game. Customs are definitely the biggest missing part of Mewtwo.

Glad to see someone realizes how stupid neutral air fast fall'd can be. Pulling people downward onto platforms to check their wakeup/techs with pokes from under the platform is just whoa.

I thought Mewtwo was complete trash in melee, so I was legitimately confused when people were whinning and moaning for his return when he was axed.
It was kind of like begging and whinning for having him for novelty purposes. Though I have to say he's more fun this time around and glad he returned.
I doubt the majority of consumers actually care whether Mewtwo is in or not. It's very strange that there are less people concerned about Ice Climbers being cut. It starting to feel too much like Smash is becomming a popularity contest rather than a bunch of characters with crazy creative attacks. It frightens me to think that at this stage, Ness, Falcon and Fox probably would not even be considered if they weren't in the series yet.
I'm kinda bummed that DLC characters don't get custom moves. Custom moves are the biggest addition to Smash, aside from the new ledge mechanic. So it's lame that now we have characters who don't even get them. It would be cool to differentiate Mewtwo even further from his Melee iteration with customs, especially since his B moves have never been particularly impressive to begin with. I would hope they would at least give Lucas Ness' B moves as customs since Ness has Lucas'.
No customs has me a bit deflated after downloading the DLC. Partially since I've never mained Mewtwo so right now I'm just checking him out and going "Yep, that's Mewtwo all right." I'm sure I'll be much more enthused once Lucas, who I did main, comes out later. But for the moment my main take away is the news of no customs for DLC and that's a bummer.

So I was playing Smash, went to the replay channel under share to download and replay have been getting this error ever since. It says my External Harrdrive needs to be plugged and doesn't have enough power. It has it's own power supply and has been working fine for almost year now. What gives?
I recall lucario being able to do this before on smash 4 before the update

It been so long since I played melee but I had fond childhood memories of the game so I'm glad Mewtwo is back and possibly Roy who was my boy back in the day becuz he had cooler fire effects compared to Marth.
Me too. Also the beam sword animations.
The new back throw animation sort of makes up for it though.

They really need to patch in shadow ball doing damage as it charges. I keep getting in trouble because I expect it to and it leaves me wide open instead.
People know Mewtwo was bad. That doesn't matter. It shouldn't surprise you that people want characters in smash more for the character themselves than that character's usefulness or practicality.
Mewtwo is still one of the most popular pokemon around and one of the few pokemon ever scene in a villainous light, so he was the perfect rep for the pokemon franchise, more so than any pokemon other than Pikachu (and I guess Pokemon Trainer but he's out).
Basically people took him being in the game for granted because, well, he's goddamn Mewtwo, and it wasn't until he was gone that people realized how much he belongs in Smash.
Also personally I don't believe any unique characters should ever be removed from the roster, only clones.

Love playing as Mewtwo again but part of me selfishly wishes he wasn't in the game because now I'll always want to be him and I am REALLY shitty with him. I need to fight my urges.

They need to start bringing in other weapon users from FE. We need an Axe user and a Lance user to complete the weapon triangle.
