Mewtwo has made it easy to make gold while spectating. Simply always bet against the player using Mewtwo. They always suck.

But you're right I confused Charizard shiny with his GBC one.
 
What's the word on how powerful Mewtwo is? I played with for a couple hours last night, but I'm no pro. Has he changed in any meaningful ways? He feels true enough to his Melee appearance, which I appreciate. I haven't played Melee in a long time, though. He does feel a little faster compared to the rest of the roster now. I love how much horizontal movement gets while falling, although he's does feel slightly less "floaty" in Smash 4. Does he fall faster now? Also, his shadow ball seems to be more powerful.

He's basically melee mewtwo but with four at least functional special moves now

My Mewtwo doesn't suck that bad, my win rate for him atm is over 92% in FG 1V1. I'll still get beat by a good player though lol.

Good games. I would have kept playing, but my mom wanted to use the TV.

That Marth custom Up B is really good at killing and surprised me a lot with its range. Sucks about the vertical recovery though.

Your Marth is very nice, it was hard for me to find openings.

And sorry about Lylat Cruise, I just wanted to try it out at times to see if the ledge shenanigans still happen.

That is because it's for glory. The only time I feel challenged is on smashgaf. Monster Zero was handing my ass to me. Fucking kirby.

I should send the 2 battles I won. Just goes to show what 2 months of no smashing does to you.

I even feel like my bowser was rusty and got into the bad habit of rolling pointlessly.
 
My first match against someone in For Glory after the patch was against a mewtwo and I falcon punched and knee the player.

I lost the second match by sd

There's some good people on For Glory, You just got to sieve through the crappy players to find them.

LMAO I just played someone on For Glory, Mewtwo ditto, and I shot my Shadow Ball he reflected it and then I reflected it back at him and he ragequit (disconnected) right as the Shadow Ball hit him and basically killed him from 30%. ROFL

Never mind the fact that I won the first match as it was. Still hilarious.

Me and someone on for glory was playing shadow ball tennis when mewtwo first went up, a fully charged one that's reflected twice can kill at 0%.

Right if you're super used to it it's gonna be hard to change the ol' habits, and it's definately one of the most satisfying kills in the game, getting a good read with it feels so good.
But dragon rush is such a huge boost to recovery, faster tech chases and it's relatively safe move to throw out, it's not a bad kill move either if you carry an opponent off stage as well. The start up times just makes such a huge difference compared to flare blitz, which is a far bigger deal than fb being so unsafe, because you just have so many more opportunities to use it.

Doesn't hurt that it doesn't cause damage either.
