In other news, Zero dropped his first tournament set since... well, has he ever dropped a set before this in Smash 4? Edit: seems not. Says on Reddit that with Diddy nerfed Sheik is the undisputed #1 character in the game. Personally, I'm alright with that cause Sheik has obvious downsides. It's possible to live to high percentages against a Sheik if they can't land the killing blow, but against Diddy pre-patch there was a cutoff where the hoo ha kills and at that point if you get grabbed (as a character like Bowser anyway) it seemed like you were just dead.

Not even that, Mr. ConCon came from losers bracket for grand finals, so he reset the bracket by winning a set with his Luigi vs Zero's Diddy. Zero then went Sheik and kicked his ass handily 3-0 in the final set (2-stocked ConCon all 3 times), still got 1st. Tournament was no customs. Seems like Luigi has a poor matchup against Sheik, and I don't think customs are going to fix that...

Edit: I'm watching it right now. God the audio sucks, the commentators are background noise.
