Man, I recorded ever match against cyber, I should post some, the asshole can move, its infuriating watching falco boot me into the atmosphere. Anyone from bracket 5 around? I don't think any of our other 3 dudes have fought yet.

I guess I'll stop with Snacks and move to you then. Playing Snacks is... kinda depressing how consistently he can KO me two or three times before I can get even one in...
You know, I feel like it would be a good thing for some of the strong players to help the weaker players through playing and teaching them what they're doing wrong. I know my local scene is doing the same thing. :)

Part of what kills me so often is for some reason, I have this delusion that Toad has usage. But it's like literally, the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what you want a counter to be. Takes half a second to even deploy, with a small ass counter window, and FLOATS YOU UP A FOOT IN THE AIR (OMFG I HATE THIS SO MUCH). "Oh, but floating up would be good for throwing off attacks!" Yes, except it puts you in recovery long enough that they have room to charge up a Smash now instead. Fucking worthless.

I haven't played Karsticles' Bowser in a while and he mostly plays Mewtwo now, but it's significantly better than my Ness, so don't get too discouraged.

I didn't save any replays and you're much better at Peach than I am at this point, so all I can think of is using down air more and finding better ways to integrate turnips. Try not to reflexively dash grab after throwing them.

Peach's is pretty bad since it doesn't even fully hit most of the time. I guess only use it when the opponent's attack is already in motion, and that's obviously not easy.

I think we have plenty of people who could do this, just that only a few people specifically ask for critique.

Maybe I should ask for a tag that says "I want critique on every battle" haha.

I just... have NO IDEA how to stop getting pummled. I just don't know what to do. I'm the easiest target in the world to grab, and if I try not to get grabbed, now I'm the easiest target in the world to Fair/nair/do whatever the hell you want.

EDIT: Yo now that's obvious, except that Peach's toad takes LONGER THAN HALF THE ATTACKS TO START.

This is embarrassing :( hahahhahahaha two suicides in 5 seconds.

I'm playing awfully cause I'm flabbergasted by these Miis and their names.

I went through at least 8 characters and have kept about 4 of them (Greninja, Yoshi, F L A C O, and Ness), and I've dropped Greninja like 3 times until I started taking him seriously a week or so ago. Just because you aren't playing a character doesn't mean you won't get better at them. Maybe you should try more characters so you better appreciate Peach's good parts. And not so good parts.

Also remember that a big part of this game is getting people to land unsafely or jump straight into your aerials.

Brief match 1 feedback:
Too many hard reads where you have not earned them.

Fsmash a roll's distance away, running up and countering, etc. This is stuff you only do when you have your opponent figured out. Not on a first match.

If you turn on customs I will use Bowser.

What do you mean by hard reads? I get the concept, but now what I'm doing that's doing it.

EDIT: Oh duh those were the examples.

Match 2 feedback:
You are very defensive. You are letting me charge Shadow Ball over and over, and that is not good. Peach can be aggressive. Do more low hovers, but not when I am charged.

Being defensive is great against an overly aggressive opponent, but that is not Mewtwo. You need to go on the offense against him.

Don't hover for no reason half a screen away. You are just letting me relax and charge Shadow Ball.

Yeah, dont do that. :) I am perfectly capable of attempting a comeback.

That was odd though.

Edit: Fall to the ledge, not the stage.

I normally try to, but when the ledge is a searing burst of red hot flames, forgive me if I seek other options.

Okay, there's no fucking way back on to that ledge.

Still gotta go for the ledge. ;)

Don't roll into Bowser. Fortress beats rolls.
Watch the spacing on your aerials. You need to bait me and punish sometimes. If you are too aggressive, Fortress wins.

Don't sweat it, Mega is my main and Zelda was my main in Brawl. Plus you're doing fine :)
That stack of corpses behind you "did fine", I am sure.

Fortress covers 3 of the four get up options, and a shorhop fair covers the other one. :/

GGs Shamrock. You are on point with your spacing, really good. Half the time I felt like I couldn't approach at all. I wish I was as good, but I'm not on that level by far. Still have long to go.
