Is it easier to unlock all the custom moves on the 3DS version or the Wii U version? Or are they about the same?

3DS is easier as mentioned.....though Classic mode runs + Home button trick (Pressing Home while the roulette is going, then holding A when pressing Home again to resume to ensure you land on the customs wrench) is much easier and faster than Smash Run I feel.

Also you can purchase a Powersaves for the 3DS, a cheat device that can unlock them all instantly. I personally hack anybody's 3DS save for free in my community, I'd look into seeing if someone in yours does a similar service.

I have a Powersaves but my copy's digital unfortunately.

But yeah thanks, will stick with the 3DS version then. I guess I'll grind it out while catching up on some anime and TV shows.

Easier or not, unlocking all customs on the 3DS version is more convenient than on Wii U. Wii U customs are stuck there and whatever 3DS it links with but you can't do Wii U->3DS->Wii U. Meanwhile you can set up an entire Wii U custom tournament with a single 3DS.

Think I just found a Wario combo that ends with a wheelie drop

I don't know which 3 characters to focus on. x_x

Got any tips/suggestions?
Hmm, seems like right now you're most effective with Falcon, those 50/50's are a pain to deal with and you can get very early kills. However I recommend you put some work on his aerial game, you make good use of nair but you can use it a lot more and uair was rarely seen, which should be your main damage dealer.

Your fox was starting to look good as well. I don't know very much about him to truly help you but you need to learn how to setup nair for kills and practice a few follow ups I'm sure you can find online.

Your link and Mario are a bit worse than those two, they're not very threatening, link especially. It's hard to balance when to wall with him and when to get in.

But really, just focus on who you feel comfortable playing. You'll be able to improve a ton if you're seeking info and sit down to practice.
