I swear, if they take away yoshis jump armor. I would stop saying how good he is......to many bullshit moments for me just because of that armor.
Lol, he needs the armor. I think Yoshi needs to be toned down a bit, but that would destroy him.

The only thing Yoshi needs is a little less priority on his Fair, and his down B should have way more recovery to bring it in line with Bowser's. All of the top tier characters just need a small change or two. None of them need an entire mechanic removed from them. Most of the low tiers just need a buff or two, as well. Bowser would be competitively viable if Klaw and Fortress got their Brawl mechanics returned to them.

Great Games Karsticles, your Mewtwo is great. Also I didn't know that neutral air wasn't so fast, don't know how to avoid that
It is actually pretty slow. 7 frame startup + 4 pre-jump frames means it can't come out sooner than frame 11. It just seems fast because it hits everywhere constantly. It needs a reduction in frames, honestly.

I am not sure if Ike can punish it from behind. You can try turning around and grabbing if I am close, or shield grabbing from the front. It isn't safe if I short hop it and I land in front of you. If I land behind, it depends on the character I am facing. Some punish it for free, others can't do anything (Ganondorf, maybe Ike and Dedede?). Bigger bodies tend to have more problems because I can land farther away and still be landing hits that need to be shielded.

Good games, though! A little feedback:
1) You never fast fall, and ffall Nair is Ike's best move.

2) Lots of rolls.

3) Many situations I am shielding and you are just chilling there. Go for the hits I give you.

4) More jabs!

5) Jumping into air dodge can be punished, as you saw. Don't be afraid to approach slowly on the ground against Mewtwo. Mewtwo would rather you be in the air than on the ground.

6) Down throw leads to combos for Ike until the mid %s. Get those down!

Yeah some few easily identifiable changes for most of the cast would easily put them closer to the other top tiers in 1v1 environment. No idea how that'd work out in FFA but I assume it's stay practically the same.

I think Marth doesn't need a lot. He is more a case of having trouble with the current top tiers than being bad himself. I would remove all of his aerial landing lag for more flexibility in his spacing game, give him some kind of guaranteed combo out of a throw if he makes the right read (most characters should have this), and maybe increase the pushback on his aerials on shield. In exchange, I would nerf counter a bit so he is more solid and less gimmicky.

What were Bowser klaw and fortress in brawl like?
Klaw was grab immune and maybe had armor (I forget). Fortress had startup invincibility, so you can Fortress while Sonic is Spindashing inside of you and win. I would also give Bowser Bomb armor and fix ledge snapping for him. Other than that, Bowser is great.
 
I've been doing pretty well with marth lately. Only thing i'd personally change is making his aerials have less endlag.
Reduce end lag on up air, back air and down air. Fair and nair are fine honestly, fair has a lot but can hit standing opponents out of short and full hop and has an amazing arc, plus you can get any special before landing.

I'd give him some easier grab follow ups as well.

I want endlag on Fair to be reduced too because you can't do 2 out of a shorthop anymore

I know that I should fastfall but I have some trouble using it correctly, I have the same problem with shorthops and using smashs instead of tilts. Anyway I'll keep in mind these tips, thanks !

Wow, I like this a lot. At the same time, it kinda sounds like Brawl Marth minus the stupidly hilarious tippers he had in that game.
 
And no Marth buffs without Lucina buffs, etc, etc. If they buff Mewtwo's throw they should buff Robin's. At least Mewtwo can dash grab decently, but Robin dash grab? Lol...
Eh. Robin is a different situation. Buffing her dash or grab means guaranteed confirms off of her spells now. Huge buff that needs to be sat on

But Ness gets this? Would only seem fair. It's like they put all this work in balancing Robin while other characters got off the hook.
Ness gets it on hit, and he doesn't get a fire pillar if it is blocked. Robin gets a pillar no matter what, and she gets a free mixup off of it. Totally different moves and situations outside of the graphic.

Look up Trela's Robin and tell me that is the problem.

I was thinking, I am doing pretty good, I should pick up Sheik because u know, I am a Zelda fanboy... then I lose my second jump :v

and I should have tech'd that hurhur

Sheik is easily my main. She is just too damn fun and full throttle to put down. Other chars feel like molasses.

Playing Robin for the first time now, and her grab is noticeably better than Mewtwo's. :p

It's Sonic. He deals damage easily and is the safest character in the game, but struggles to KO. Part of his balance, and he is still considered one of the best in the game.
