Going to the 100th Xanadu tomorrow. Maybe I'll be on stream as well. Heard there will be a lot of good players there. I'll be sure to rep the GAF tag. (￣ー￣)

To answer your question. Maybe? Maximilian uses two internet connections, one for streaming and the other for playing iirc, so I assume that's the ideal way. However, it can't be THAT bad if there haven't been people complaining about online lag while using the PS4's/XBOne stream function while playing can it?
 
Anyone up for 1v1s or maybe 2v2s if there's enough interest?

Does anyone know who the "best" Dr. Mario is?

Also, is Dr. M one of the characters that really benefits from customs?

I don't think there are any notable Dr. Mario players out there yet. But yes, he becomes a much stronger character with customs, especially his Down-B/Up-B customs.

I think Boss played him with customs for a bit, but really I don't think there are players who can be called the "best" Docs. No doubt if you browsed the Doc boards at Smashboards you'll find some dedicated players, and I'd like to think I'm pretty good with him myself. :3

Doc gets Fast Megavitamin, Breezy Sheet, Soaring Tornado, and both custom up-B as viable specials. You might as well replace his regular cape with Breezy sheet, and Soaring Tornado kills pretty darn early so I'd say he does benefit from customs, but his default moveset is definitely workable and nothing is outstandingly bad.

Of course, they didn't need to remove the recovery from his side-B or make him legit slower than Mario. :/

Oh I know he hurts like hell, but a little more distance on his up B and letting his cape stall in the air like Mario wouldn't hurt.
 
Hey guys, I just started playing Smash for realsies and decided I'd pop in and say hello lol. My best friend is back in town and he, as well as another good friend of mine, is a total Smash nut and I guess it finally rubbed off on me. I ordered a refurb Wii U that'll be here tomorrow and got the game as well as a GC controller and adapter.

I play Sonic and only Sonic, lmao. In general with fighters I like to pick one character and maaaaaybe have a secondary if there are some garbage MUs, but Sonic doesn't really have any so I didn't care haha.

I think my NNID is Discoid so if y'all wanna add me that'd be cool.
