Duck Hunt, Hogan's Alley, and Wild Gunman are all lightgun games and presumably Zapper games.

He doesn't do the laugh, but he does the animation during his intro and after his Final Smash, and he snickers while lying down for one of his taunts. It's possible they use the classic sound for one of his victory poses, but it hasn't been confirmed yet.

This is probably the best Mother level Smash has had. No obstructive gimmicks, a nice layout and a beautiful background.
Out of curiosity, where do trophies that belong to reps of a series have their emblems located?
