Smash Tour is going to be my most played mode, at least this holiday.I can see Smash tour/ stage builder being limited hurting the score of the game
Should have been playable online though. But I understand it's more of a local thing.

As someone who knows close to nothing about this game, is it supposed to be as good as Melee?
Yeah, that's true, that'll be a factor.3DS version was new and was stressing that system visually.
Reviews aren't made in a vacuum, nor are they particularly objective (because that would be dumb). Smash Wii U is going to come out after Smash 3DS and most reviewers are going to play it having already exhausted the core mechanics on 3DS.
I still don't get the big fuss about it. I mean, many of us have played Ruby and Sapphire, and it's a pretty apparent, annoying issue with the map. I guess it could need explanation in some context though, idk.I think they are referring to IGN's review of Pokemon ORAS where they put a score of 7.8 and the negative listed was too much water. In their review its actually detailed and it makes sense but it looks funny at the end.
~1900 year old confirmed.My metacritic prediction : 88
Because it's my birth year.

game of the year
"I wasted way too much time in the My Music menu. Some days I'd sit down for a session, and not even get to play because I spent so much time deciding song percentages. 5.6/10."By the way, about IGN, it's going to be "too much music" because we'll get 430+ :lol
It's a secret to everybody.
Heheh, thread derailed in 3...2...1. It always happens with Smash lol.As someone who knows close to nothing about this game, is it supposed to be as good as Melee?
Ok, being serious, I can see some cons :
- not enough new stages
- missing a few modes like Adventure/Break the Target
- few stuff not available day one like custom stages sharing or online tournament.
The last of us remastered. But that and Gta are old games.A game of this polish getting 80's ? Seems crazy to me.
If it gets 90+ the Wii U will be the new gen console with most 90+ games this year.
There is a big lack of 90+ games on new gen systems this year. I only saw GTA V and Bayo 2.

No review can nor should critique the online today. Absolutely no online features are available yet. So any outlet mentioning online should be ignored.
Can you still what game modes are online? No review can nor should critique the online today. Absolutely no online features are available yet. So any outlet mentioning online should be ignored.
Gamespot: 8/10; Because it's a Nintendo game
Can you still what game modes are online?
I do not see an issue if they mention a negative that say "Smash Tour is local only".
Anyone who played the original Ruby and Sapphire would think that complaint is completely justified.IGN gave ORAS a 7.8 and one negative was "too much water"
Just a play off that.
Also, jumping the gun a bit since not 1 review is up yet.
They're not, though.Review scores are vague, meaningless digits.
I've never understood threads like this. "I predict it will be a 9/10" - what does that even mean? Review scores are vague, meaningless digits.
The only things embargoed I think wereI just thought of something...once the embargo is up, people with a review copy are allowed to talk about everything the game has to offer right? Doesn't that mean we may learn even more about the game that we possibly didn't know because of Nintendo's tendency to keep secrets? I think I'm more excited about that possibility than the review scores since no score will sway my decision to buy it lol
Thanks for the clarity. I figured it may show you the menu but not allow you to connect. So your point is totally valid.Nope. Like the 3DS game, you first have to connect to the Nintendo servers & they aren't functional right now. So no one has seen the online game mode screen yet.

Not necessarily. Nintendo at times will restrict what reviewers can say about some content. For example the end game in Pokemon ORAS.
I predict people will get angry at any score noticeably lower than the average for some reason.
How many standard deviations below average will it take to make people angry?I predict people will get angry at any score noticeably lower than the average.

Well that's exactly what I mean! Like how they cannot talk about the ORAS end game content, maybe there is something in Smash they can't mention either (like a stage or something) that will blow our minds!
It's all wishful thinking anyway. I'm just getting really excited for this Friday for both Smash and ORAS!![]()
Wishful thinking sure, but it got confirmed by a Chile Smasher that indeed we know all 46 stages. Embargo means nothing to those who bought a broken street date copy.
