Meanwhile everyone at Blizzard is laughing at such a low estimate.
They are trying to help these recent issues, rewards for ranked play, tavern brawl basically a free pack each week but I definitely agree Hearthstone is not newbie friendly and it's getting worse and worse with every card expansion. I'm wondering when if ever it will start effecting their profits.
Hated the android client and stopped playing.
Updated my stream 7 to windows 10 and literally installed hearthstone this morning and it runs great
Any of the expansions worth purchasing?I only have the base game
Everyone, get in here!
Hopefully leads to more competition.
The game is great so good for Blizzard. Mobile money is huge.
No wonder Bethesda are pushing a card game for next year. They want a piece of that $.
I am kind of surprised Square Enix isn't making a similar card game as well. Final Fantasy universe has many characters and creatures so they could easily pull it off.
Never spent a penny and I play a shitton. Thanks for supporting my free play, guys.
10 out of the 20 million a month is from Yoshichan alone
thanks yoshichan
Yes, this is how you make F2P - by making a game, that requires at least 3 month of gold grinding in order to build semi-competitive deck. And if you actually want to be competitive then you have to pray RNG gods for legendaries. All card games by their nature are Pay2Win, the thing is that it is accepted in TCG space.THIS is how you make a F2P game.
I've never bought card packs using money (only gold), but I've bought the two adventures using money and I don't feel bad about it. Partially because I they're new content. Content not "on-disk".
Anyone feel the same way? Or maybe the question is, why are we spending more on Hearthstone and not other F2P games?
