SUPERH|OT| SUPERHOT SUPERHOT

That was the stretch goal they didn't reach. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets added in the future

hope it sells well enough for them to consider. or an expansion would be nice.

Also, did you guys spot me in the backer credits? i'm in all your systems! muhahaha

Just had something happen and I have no idea if it was a bug or part of the game. I was playing the
elevator level
and all of a sudden my screen
turned sort of rainbowish. I could still see the cursor on the screen and was still playing and restarting, but it did this several times. Then somehow I unlocked an achievement for "becoming a part of the community" and shortly after that the game crashed.

I have no idea how I unlock that achievement.

Game's fun but a little pricey. It only took me 110 minutes to complete when blind drunk and I'm not generally all that rad at shooters. Hopefully endless mode will add some value.

FInished it and found all the secrets....if only I had a numbpad on this keyboard

Time to do the challenges. The endless mdoe isn't as fun as I thought it would be.

goddamnnnnnn
this is the game where high frame rates matter the most, it was running at sixty earlier and i just mad everything at one four four and hot damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn its the single most hfr game ive ever seen hooooooooly shit

these "story" chats are annoying

cut the crap and let me play the damn game. And create like a hundred more levels to justify the price and development time

This is the most innovative shooter I've played in years.

2 hours to finish the story now on to endless and challenge modes.
Really enjoying it.

You don't realise it until you play the challenge modes that all 32 of these levels had to be balanced for different gameplay styles (Katana Only, AD2013, Ghost, Barehanded, Full Stop). When you can't pick up stuff to throw or can't shoot or can't punch and yet still make it through all these levels, that takes quite a bit of effort.

So just throwing out a "100 more levels to justify the price and development time" is gonna take a while for that kind of fine-tuning.

I just finished the bare hands challenge, and I just notice that you can one shot Red guys with fists if you punch them exactly when they shoot you, hard to time correctly but it happened to me a few times.

I'll assume you know nothing about game development or this game's development if you can make comment like that. The quality and content here more than justifies the price

Hmmm I don't think the price is justified, 2 hours of story and thats it, the rest is basically extra.
But dont get me wrong I'm putting in the shoes of people that really want the 20 bucks worth of gameplay, in the other hand, I could care less, I'm 13 hours in and shouting SUPER HOT to the wind.

Maybe they shouldn't have put a story mode in there, because it's clearly distracting people. I feel like this is an "emperor's new groove" on a level similar to "you can't fail" in Prince of Persia '08, but I won't deny that it's all about psychology and perceived value.

On a different note; what is happening with the Killstagram site? I've registered, but it doesn't seem to take, because I can register with the same info over and over. It's told me it's "claiming the account", but I don't think anything happened?

Story done in about 2 hours and a bit. Now onto the challenges and stuff.

I don't get the hate from people saying it's too expensive and the story is too short.

I look at this game like Pac-Man or another high-score chasing game with a story mode attached.

Great game, loved every minute of the story, but even happier with the endless and challenge modes.

And of course length is subjective. Some people beat the campaign in 70 minutes. Another here said it took 3.5 hours. Took me a little over 4 hours

Too short for one is just right for another.

I really like how many of the challenges, by limiting your options, make you discover new things about the one thing you have access to.

And then, when you return to a mode where you have access to every option, it feels even richer for it.

I think I stated this in a post already, but it's really making me wonder if all the ways that this game is amazing are actually deliberate, or if they're a string of happy accidents. :) But then again, experimentation/iteration is, ideally, partially a string of happy accidents.

Yeah, the fist only modes made me realize how important and useful jumping is.

value is always going to be subjective

but in the case of this game, I think it would have been perfect at $15, maybe 20. 25 just feels like a bit much considering to the climate it's in.
that being said, it sets a good perceived value, and this game is going to clean up during a steam sale

also it's fucking awesome

Somehow Killstagram isnt working for me.. On three seperate occasions I tried uploading something and the upload completes just fine - but when I go back to the main menu and onto replays it opens an empty Killstagram account :(

It takes a while for them to show up there.

I just finished the game and I'm seeing all of these
SECRET NOT CRACKED messages in the LEVELS section. So I checked a guide for the secret in the very first level. I jumped off the walkway as in the video but the computer terminal is turned off so I can't activate it. What am I missing?

edit:
I had to restart the story to get the terminal to work. I guess it only works in story mode, not LEVELS.

What's everybody's best/worst endless level? The bridge level is my best, because it's so big and easy to camp in a corner without being overwhelmed. The stairs level is my worst (can only get up to 25 kills) because it feels so cramped and I always die from being shot from above or below.

thats odd, I'm going through LEVELS atm clearing out

and it seems to be working just fine.

It works in the level select (don't know about challenges). You need to make sure you don't have anything in your hands. You need your hands.
