Well, I would very much like to see an image of that aswell, since it appears that he is actually not wearing a shirt under his coat. And that could mean cool top-less action segments, or odd-ball bra-strap segments, or neither.

DMC4 is the hottness. Who from 1Up said that DMC4 looked like DMC3 in high res? :lol :lol
 
Did I ever claim it was true? I was just saying that the other guy isn't really regurgitating the January-old news. If you weren't claiming something to that effect then sorry, I made a mistake.

The picture came with the DMC4 logo on the bottom, so it would probably make sense if it was placed on the top. Still a good job on it.
 
sorry, but that picture is way too ugly. mish-mash of light tones and shades, not to mention that it is way to obvious of a photoshop. Nice for a fan wallpaper, disgusting for actual official game box-art.
 
Do you think Capcom is gonna do DMC4 RE2/DMC2 or Oni 3 style where you can play the game entirely with Nero, and then do it again with Dante like RE2. Or do you guys suppose everything will be preselected like Onimusha 3?

If yours is that ugly yellow fonted sin, I pity thee. I thought the PAL was good for it's time. Not that the "proper DMC's" covers was anything to masturbate to either.
 
Anybody have an idea what the voice cast is like? I could have sworn that I heard Johnny Yong Bosch in there.

Edit: Nevermind, found it two pages ago. Jeez, Bosch is becoming more and more prominent. I might just have to buy DMC4 now.

Um... NTSC/US didn't get the cover you posted for DMC2. I wished we had, it's FAR superior. :lol

That yellow font is probably the worst conceived box art sin I have ever seen.

Oh and yes Johnny Bosch has confirmed to be playing Nero's VA and mo-cap in DMC4.

That's not the font for the US DMC2 smart-guy. It's the same font style seen in the DMC3 PAL box-art.
 
Um I guess there were different US versions since I have that crappy block yellow font DMC2 box art. My local Gamestop store is holding the same version as well.

I just put the site on some translators and its mostly a biography of Kobayashi rather than anything pertinent to DMC4. :lol

He talks about his high school years and stuff.

We really should make a checklist of things to try for whoever in GAF is lucky enough to try DMC4 @ Akihabra Festival 2006.

I'll sort of start off:

1) Please see if there is any link between Devil Bringer's buster move and the sixaxis controller. After Nero impails a marionette with Nelo'sarm, he sort of stops for one second. I really had a gut feeling that there must be SOME kind of new move after that, and the first thing that came to my mind was the sixaxis controller. Just try swinging the controller around when you do that and see if Nero throws that marionette in that direction or does ANYTHING interesting. If nothing from the sixaxis, just try mashing O repeatedly or try slashing during that move. I don't know, just experiment.

2) Also please inform whether or not Nero has any new or different moves while he is in his "speed dash" phase. After seeing him do that I really think it can deepen the combat system by making you placement more strategic during battles of some bigger enemies.

3) Try delaying consecutive sword slashes, and see if it links to another combo.

4) I'm not sure but see what happens when you hit /\+O together. Back in DMC2, while doing R1+/\+O in DDT mode; Dante did his most devastating laser beam attack. So they could have possibly added it.

5) Anything happen while mashing O right after initiating snatch?

This is all that is in my mind momentarily.

Sony has released info on their demo station plans for Japan. Starting the end of this month Sony will move into position 1,000 demo kiosks across Japan, each equipped with a High Definition TV and broadband connection in order to properly demonstrate the system.

In addition to four demo games being playable - Devil May Cry 4, Ridge Racer 7, Power Smash 3, and Gran Turismo HD - 30 game trailers will be available for viewing pleasure. For those more interested in the PS3 itself, the media bar will also be available for use with such fun to be had as the: Game, Video, Photo, and Music function bars. Content concerning each will be available on each kiosk so you can listen to some music after you get tired of playing Power Smash 3. Yatta!

While Kobayashi won't say it straight out that he is, from the interviews he's basically confirmed that Dante will be playable in some way.
