Once a friend had a try on one of these, he was about the hit the last level, he pressed the button, and there was VERY CLEARLY a delay when the machine reacted to his input. Such bullshit.

There's a couple machines down at a local 7/11. There are signs on them saying - will guarantee a plush within $15. Or pay the attendant $15 and they'll retrieve a plush for you.

Local Chuck-E-Cheese has crane machines that pay out about every $2. Most likely because its for little kids but still... I make out like a bandit!
