Survivor Samoa: Premieres Thursday, Sept. 17 8:00pm ET/PT

Brett is in the same position Dani was in in Panama. She was the last surviving member of her tribe then the dominant tribe started using her to vote each other out and the next thing you knew she was taking home a million bucks.

They really did do such a bad job at editing this season for Galu. Especially the first couple of episodes. Didn't they only get a yoga scene in one? :lol

And I had no idea All-star was next season. That should be good.

It wasn't in the previews at the end of the last show, it was in the pre-credits, this is what happened last week, part of this week's show. It was definitely a very odd editing choice for them to gloss over something that big that could sway a lot of votes.
 
I don't think Russell is going to win. I think he has made one HUGE mistake in his gameplay...he ignored the social aspect of the game. He played cocky and arrogant. Out of the people left, I think he played the best strategic game, but almost all the other people left have played a significantly better social game. I think if he loses it will be because of the social aspect not the fact that he is a millionaire. Smirking at every tribal council and being cocky never wins fans...especially from people you just voted out. Survivor is both strategy and social gameplay...at least to me.

In this week's Survivor blog, Probst drops a major hint about what Monica said to Russell about swaying the jury. I think the millionaire thing could really bite him in the ass. I'm sure he won't let that slip out again in Allstars.
 
Russ really did screw himself this week. I just hope he lasts a little longer, he's by far the most interesting thing about this season. I want to see him get to the end, but ultimately lose because he's rich. He makes the show very entertaining though.
 
In other news, congratulations Survivor and CBS on reaching a season peak of 13.25 million viewers last episode (the 5th most viewed Survivor episode -- period -- since Survivor: China). The episode a week ago also managed 7th place in the weekly ratings, which could be improved again this week.

(In other words, people definitely know who Brett is now ;) :lol )

Good job Mark Burnett, and the casting director who green-lit Russell H.
 
Brett is out once he drops (if?) an immunity challenge, that seems to be the only definite about the finale.

I'm thinking Russel and Natalie in the finals with Natalie winning an overwhelming jury vote.
 
Kinda glad to see Shambo go, she was stupid and got blindsided with every vote.

I wouldn't mind seeing Brett win, even though he didn't really do anything but win immunities.

Finale is on my Dad's birthday.

If Brett loses an immunity, he's gone.

Russel
Natalie
Jaison

with Natalie winning.
 
Shambo going was the right move, she seemed to be more and more erratic every episode. Also the makeup artists for the jury really need to lay off, they are all shiny and Monica had way too much rouge on.
 
God, Brett better not win immunity again, because some of those idiots on the jury might actually vote for him.

Why do people think Natalie will get more votes than Russell? I would be really shocked by that. Not giving the money to Russell if he makes the finals would pretty much make them the worst jury in Survivor history and they should all be blacklisted from any future involvement with the show.

I think you are wrong, in survivor history has shown that the better "player" gets the votes at the end. Russell has been by far the better player. Now the only thing that would prevent him from winning if he gets to the end would be the fact that he is rich already.
 
Ding dong the witch is dead. It'll be great not to have to listen to that annoying mouth anymore.

I think it's down to either Brett wins out and gets the million or Russel wins the million. The fact that this group couldn't clue into Russel after all this time makes me think they'll fall for him all the way right thru the vote.

I fucking hate when random contestants pull that shit towards season's end. It happens on every reality show I watch (which granted is only Survivor and Big Brother, hehe).

If there was a god, do they really think he would give a flying fuck about how many coconuts some random douche was going to drop in a game show? Praying for a competition is just retarded because one side will always find "justification." Then of course the other just thinks they're being taught humility...

I'm getting really tired of the jury rolling their eyes when Russell does something cocky at tribal. It's not his fault that his alliance doesn't have the balls to backstab him.

PS: Kelly is so fucking hot. She just needs to get rid of those stupid dreds or whatever they are.

Gnatalie from BB9 really took the cake...man I hated her. Contrast her with Sharon, who was genuinely religious, and not at all judgemental nor did she try to cram her beliefs down the throats of the other houseguests in a thinly veiled attempt to convince the house that she has some sort of moral highground to stand on.
 
Aw man, I wish we had another week. I'll be out of the state this weekend so I probably won't have a chance to watch it until Tuesday. Hopefully I can stay spoiler free. I'm routing for a Russel, Natalie, Jaison ending with Natalie winning it. If Brett makes it to the end, the jury will vote for him just because he isn't Foa Foa.

I don't think so at this point. Even if Brett is there, Russel will hopefully be smart enough to say "Hey, Brett being on board voting for Erik is one of the reasons all of you ex-Galu are sitting up there on the jury and we Foa Foa are still sitting over here."

If he gets to the finals and doesn't win, it will be BS. I think his smartest move is to go there with Jaison and Mick. If they try to bring up his wealth, he still has the "Look, I was living in a trailer park 5 years ago. You're a a doctor and you're a lawyer, so I don't think you want to get into who "needs" this money."

If Russel made the finals, I could see him winning. In my reality viewing experiences, the mastermind usually wins over the nicer person that seems to just stroll through. Time usually heals most of the juries wounds* and they want to vote for the person that beat them. Nobody wants to vote for the person who they feel is lucky to be there.


*There is always the one bitter person who is still mad.

Mick is a skinny dude. Jaison is a skinny dude. Russell moves well for a chubby dude. Natalie is a respectable chick. Brett was like the 4th one to start his puzzle and he beat two supposed brainiacs to do it finish it. Its not nearly as bad as when every challenge was a water challenge for Ozzy.

Earlier episodes proved that Mick and Jaison couldn't work a puzzle worth crap. Obviously the producers threw in a puzzle to give Brett a better chance.

Of course they want tension on the show.
 
Damn I've never watched Survivor before I thought it was such a silly show, decided to tune into the final today for laughs. But DAMN these guys are some calculating dudes, Russel seems like he's running the show.
 
If i was doing this challenge, i'd be screaming my head off just to annoy and throw the other contestants off. They are so quiet.
