Where has the evening gone? Oh that's right, I've spent all evening with Swap Note! ♥

Nintendo Letter Box is a stupid name though. Why couldn't they just stick with Swap Note? At least it is clear what the app is for with that name. The uninformed will just think that it's an app for Nintendo to send letters to the 3DS with the first name. Still, some execs at NOE have to do something to justify their positions I guess *rolleyes*.

Have people gotten bored of swapnote? I've only received like 6 notes today

I would use it WAY MORE if you could do animations like Flip Note, and not just drawings (even if you can see them being drawn). I also expect tomorrow and in two days to have much more activity, with everybody sending a 'happy new year' message

Game mechanics:
• DM creates a complete adventure ahead of time
• DM sends out note to player(s) asking what character they want to play as (fighter, wizard, etc)
• Players respond with their choice
• DM creates a new note. The first page sets the scene, the second page reveals what they've seen of the map, the third page describes the area, and the fourth page is DM notes/comments.
• Players respond with a new note. Gives them up to 4 pages of notes.
• Any combat is resolved by the DM making behind-the-screen die rolls.
• DM can create new notes by editing the note above. Edits create a new note that the DM can send out and categorize for later.
• This continues until the adventure is over.

I guess you could play Doodle or Die on this as well.

Wow. What a difference my new Class 10 SD Card made for SwapNote. Reading, saving, and sending messages is much, much quicker. I no longer get the "Message is being marked as read" notification anymore, and downloading new letters is faster.

So if you have SwapNote slow loading problems, get a Class 10 SD Card. It solves the issue.

I don't seem able to send notes with my 3DS in sleep mode, which is what I thought spot pass was using to send notes? As soon as I open it, it goes through the motions of sending and receiving, but while asleep it does nothing at all. Have I misunderstood how it works?

Everything is enabled in the menus by the way so I assume it should work fine. Thanks

I don't think its meant to send notes in sleep mode. It just sends when you see the little animation of the letter in the clouds. Only takes a few seconds so don't close your 3ds!

Hmm I've never gotten that notification before and I'm still using the Toshiba SD card that you get with the system. Maybe you have a ton of more messages than me though.

I still want a new card though because the one I have is getting full already...
