For all those on my list so far, hope you enjoyed my horror story 'twas a dark and eery night in the woods....' It's my first proper attempt at story telling, even made the 'knock knock' sound myself. I am a shit house drawer but man am I having some fun. =D

I'll forward you a few notes I've done, although in time you will lose hours on this software once you get a few people. BlackNMild sends some true stories and the odd funny fiction one too. The Sheriff story made me sad then lol'd.

Yeah, but we shouldn't have to re-create a note when it should already be possible to re-swap it.
I made a list of improvements I would like to see in an update soon.

I haven't got any different stationary to use yet, do you unlock them eventually or is it just from people sending?

I sent him the New Years Stationery from Nintendo.
Once someone sends it to you, it adds it to your collection and then you can use it too.
All the rest of the locked stock stationery you have to unlock with Play Coins.
edit: I sent it to everyone on my list, so you should have gotten it too.
Scroll all the way to the end of your stationery and it should be there.

Nvm I'm a noob haven't unlocked the ability to use stationary yet it seems, that'll explain why I haven't 'got' any yet.

The reason I'm not adding anyone myself is because I only have a few spaces left (three as of now). Rather save those for people who have added me (I hope that doesn't sound too mean, but I feel bad deleting pending requests)

I don't know about everyone, but the appeal to me isn't just getting a really cool picture or masterpiece (which is still cool!) but also just having a laugh. Waking up to a poorly drawn penis/titties or some random scribble or silly letter or message still makes me smile.
So don't be self-conscious just send whatever you want and have fun!

I haven't checked it for a couple of days and I think it's up to 130 letters now and still downloading new ones when you check for new letters. :O
Edit: Haha now it told me to make sure I take breaks so I don't get tired. Almost like it meant that I should just stop.

This is probably the greatest software Nintendo has ever made. I went on a hike and came back to like 20 new messages that had me in stitches. I've gotta get that old-time movie stationary! Can someone send it to me? It's amazing!

The limit is 100 friends. I've added 100 codes, all gaffers, but about 40 have never added ne back. The unconfirmed / greyed out friends stay in the order that you input them, so each time someone tells me they've added me I'm just deleting the friend card of the oldest unconfirmed friend to free up space..

Is there a way to send a group of them at once or do you have to do one at a time? (I didn't realize the limit was four sheets, not just the ink, so I've made something of a movie it would seem)
And just so I'm clear, even though this is hugely basic and stupid: When you send it via SpotPass, that sends it over the internet, right? It's when you do Street Pass that lets you just attach one that goes out with your Mii when you walk by someone? I only ask because when I send my notes, it says "Saving to send via SpotPass" or something, not that they've actually sent. Love Nintendo and their poor wording!

You can send to multiple recipients at once, but if you mean bulk send multiple swapnotes then yes and no.. you can save and not immediately send them, until you've completed all you're going to send, then one after the other tap send to set them all off nearly at once...
...correct on the spotpass / streetpass differences. I'm amazed they allowed streetpass messaging in a way, you can basically anonymously send dicks to people if you are so inclined!

The creator needs to have the setting enabled to allow recipients to download images and sound they send when they sent the note. It's not on by default.

In settings a user can set wether to allow their images or recordings to be used outside of swapnote.

It'll be a day or two before I send out part II, really trying to think where I am going to go with it. Honestly, I wrote all that as the ideas just came to my head. Draw, write, oooh a sound would be good. Close, record, open SN, edit etc etc.
In fact, originally there wasn't going to be a '...will continue' screen but I got some good feedback from that so edited the last note and resent it.

crap, my bad man - i keep bringing this thing to work and forgetting to bring the cord, so of course it's dead again. this is what i get for full bright + 3D (power saver too though!), ill add you back later today when it's got juice though.

I think it's good to have a limit. that way the drawing animation, the main attraction of the app IMO, can only last a certain (and short) amount of time. otherwise you would get notes which took 20min or longer to draw.
also you have to use your imagination more often.
it's kinda the same with the maginal possibilities to create a Mii. tons of features would ruin it
